Don,

Am I the only one confused by your post?  First, you wrote that when Alan remote viewed you, and wrote of the hanging gardens, it corresponded to a sermon you had just coincidentally delivered - a "synchronism" that was unlikely by chance.

Now you said, you really can't relate to what he wrote about you?  Seems a bit strange.  Remote viewing may pick up things like your planned sermon.  Isn't it funny what is picked up on.  I doubt Alan is an adept like Ingo Swann but still, I found your initial comment on the unexpected synchronism to be a "hit."

Matthew

Thank you Matthew and others, yes it is strange that Don at first admitted it was a hit and now back in his fundamentalist Box, it is just synchronism

Guys I will attempt to remote view those who have asked me to do it before the weekend

Love yah!

Alan-

I admit I'm skeptical, but I'll be the first to applaud you if you can get a hit on me!

I will try but not in the next few days, there is a great deal of "static" (the best way I can describe it) in the realms of the conscious mind due to the awful tragedy we see in the island of Haiti

Thousands of people die every day, but not as suddenly and traumatically as those poor souls, who were suddenly snatched away unexpectedly

Matthew,

I don't even recall a prior question to remotely view me.  I took Alan's description of his recent attempt to remove view me.  In that light, his efforts failed.

But if I did once concede a hit about the hanging gardens of Babylon, that only meant that I preached a sermon in which I referred to this city.  Since the Babylon captivity of the Jews serves as the background for several OT books, that hit would be expected by chance and would lack significance.
My parents have a skate behind their condominium in British Colunbia in which there is a little fountain and there is a little fountain outside out courthouse in Colville.  But I don't view either as a hit for your imaging of "golden fountains."  I have nothing similar at my house or church.  It is not legitimate to take the imagery of a reading and then search one's memory for times when you've encountered something resembling that image.  Al of us could generally come up with examples; so this means nothing.

The same is true of the pale horse, an image from the Book of Revelation.  Of course, I've discussed that book in church, but not the pale horse.  So that attempt at remote viewing is mistaken.

Alan, I believe in remote viewing; I simply haven't discerned it from you in the way that others may have.  To construe this reaction as a return to a "fundamentalist box" is a symptom of your breath-taking irrational thought patterns.

I recall an interesting experiment in a psychology class while at Columbia University.  Each person was given what they were told was a personal horoscope/reading from a renowned psychic.  The readings were crafted in the same manner for each student.  Sayings which included the entire range of possibilities were given such as:  "although you enjoy the company of others you are a reflective, private person too."   Fairly meaningless.

However, the upshot was that each student was asked to rate their "psychic reading."  More than 90% of the students rated the generic readings as "very insightful"  "spot on"  and with comments such as "she really knew me well."  The point of this experiment was to teach the students that sometimes we hear what we want to hear and put our own interpretations sometimes.

All that being said, the synchronicity of Alan attempting to view Don, and describing hanging gardens, and Don preaching about the hanging gardens of Babylon (possibly with golden fountains), may still be considered a "hit."  Alan is a neophyte at distant reading.  If he happened to make a mental connection when Don was formulating his sermon, could this not have been an unforseen mental connection instead of a viewing of a physical scene?

Not to say I'm certain of it, just giving the benefit of doubt.  I would esimate the odds of Alan talking of hanging gardens and Don giving a sermon about Babylon's hanging gardens right at the same time would be less than 1 in 100 by mere chance.

Alan is just experimenting.  He is not an accomplished remote viewer like McMoneagle.  I do agree that in Don's case we can't conclude anything about Alan's reading with certitude.  Still it makes one wonder.

Don

I see a beautiful city with golden fountains of water, something like the hanging gardens of Babylon. In addition, a white horse and rider with a crown and bow, his hair if flowing backward from the speed he is riding. Don is at his desk studious and focusing on some vexing mystery or problem.

Berserk2
, Yesterday (Sunday) I preached on the prophet Ezekiel's Vision of the Valley of Dry Bones (Ezekiel 37:1-14). The text deals with the exile of the Jews after the Babylonian destruction of Jerusalem and its Temple and the forced exile of the Jewish survivors to Babylon. Of course, I was drawing lessons from the miraculous return to Jerusalem, but before I did, I GAVE AN EXTENSIVE DESCRIPTION OF THE CITY OF BABYLON AND ITS DELIGHTS. In your remote viewing of me, you locate me by Babylon's HangingGardens. I'd say that's quite an impressive synchronicity! Congratulations!

I said I saw a white horse and rider not a pale horse

Juditha,

Juditha vision is very clear she is looking out on the water, could be a lake or ocean, she sees a woman in white whose hands are outstretched to greet her in joy. The moon and its beautiful reflection on the water is lighting up the night

Hi alan This is great what you seen of me as i had been dreaming all night long about spirit the other night and one of the visions they showed me was of a small lake and this lake had 3 moons above it and one moon was red one moon was blue and one moon was yellow and i was talking to my friend about painting this scene of what i was shown in the spiritworld and my friend came round to see me and she was dressed in white.

My friend will be amazed tommorow when i show her what you have written, congratulations from me as well alan.If you look on the dream forum you will see that i posted a couple of days ago about my dreaming all night about the spiritworld.
Love and God bless love juditha

Read the remote view again Don I said they could be actual scenes or symbolic or a type of telepathy

It takes some courage to attempt what I did as I opened myself up to scorn and ridicule don't you think

Alan,

I had forgotten that post.   You "hit" is admittedly more impressive by occurruing the day after.

I concede that.

Hi Don,

I just realized that one advantage to your point of view is that you'll never have to suffer a belief systems crash  Smiley
Have you ever had one in the past?

The method I use to remote view is "something anyone can do", At night I just think of your avatar name and wait until pictures form in my mind.

I cant do it at the moment because each time I tried it my mind began to fill with scenes from the
"terrible disaster that the poor folk at Haiti are suffering"

I will wait a week and then when things have cooled down make an attempt

Why don't one of you guys give it a try? Strangely I find if I am sleep deprived I become more sensitive and visions flood into my mind
Regards

Just a question - did you perhaps remote view me last night at about 11,30pm my time?  I awoke in sleep paralysis, totally confused, & could not remember the layout of my room for a few moments; I saw a big window "emitting" a bright light on the wall where my bookcases "really" are, then a tall male figure passed quickly across the light - I had the feeling someone had been there; the light effect faded along with the sleep paralysis.

Wonder what it could have been if not you?  I always set up a protective space in my room & it did not feel negative at all.

You know it is strange! I was thinking about trying to remote view and saw a room with a lot of books and of course the bookcases, but as it is after the event it cant be taken as a hit.

You are an avid reader and I think you must have read more than a thousand books in your life time?

But you seem I good candidate, Bets has often seen me when I visited and her dog Barnabe always knows I am there he just stares at my ethereal presence

Love

I'd say that was a hit, in fact!  Yes, I am indeed an avid reader, I 've often had no place to store my books once all the available bookcases were filled (& stacked one atop the other) I've even had to resort to stuffing them into the garage & even the ceiling. . . when I moved to different countries in the past I just used to bring a suitcase of my favourite books & a change of clothing.   Grin

Do feel free to view me whenever you like!

Namaste!
