I remember one fellow from the cemetery was very willful about not wanting to go. He didn't seem to have any reason, other than possibly a fear of the unknown, or the memory of something he did that he feared retribution.
And as well,
it's really quite pleasant in North Carolina, so why would anyone want to leave?!
So we argued a long time, as I felt I should convince him. He eventually went.
He probably should have been allowed to follow his own thoughts on it.
I recall that once (at least) on these boards here I argued with someone until they were angry.----So, how many questions or arguments should one deliver when trying to convince someone? I don't have a "good manners" book for this.
