In order to avoid litter the forum with a new thread each time I update
my
Ideas template, I've decided to just add them inside this thread,
as they stack up.

PauliEffectt's Ideas on PE activities, Version 1.1
This is merely a template for getting participants to a PE activity. For
actual PE, look in the forum for other threads with active PE.Name of this PE and its activity dates & times (24 hour clock):- PE-Prep2.sess01,
(date xxx)- PE-Prep2.sess02,
(date xyx)- PE-Prep2.sess03,
(date xzx)Prerequisites: None
Activity: (description of PE activity is stated here)Explicit participants: (not mentioned here, may be stated in a later post)PauliEffectt's thoughts: I think it's likely that we are
"more than our physical
bodies". I assume that there exists nonphysical guides. I also assume that there
can exist something like an I-There/Disk. I don't assume that there exist god(s),
as I'm sort of atheistic. I leave the question of the existence of non-duality
open. I view PE as a kind of way to develop myself and help others develop
or even to help others with various issues. These thoughts of mine will most
likely shine through in our PE activities.
Your expectations on any of your "result" posts: I think you don't need
to have any expectations at all on your results. Remember, even Moen had
difficulties getting the same experiences as "Denise", even though they
put a lot of effort into their PE activities. In my opinion there are a lot
of both misses and hits in
Voyage to Curiosity's Father, and still, both
Denise & Moen are extremely skilled and talented explorers.
In fact, I think it's much better to miss, than never to send a "result" post.
I also think we should keep our posts in the open forum, as PMs create too much
feelings of "secrets". Of course, if you notice something really embarrassing,
like my preference for pink socks, please keep that out.
Comment: The PE name consists of two parts. The first part, for example
"PE-Prep2", is to identify this PE activity should anyone want to refer to
it from posts at a later time. The second part, for example ".sess01", is
to more specifically identify one individual session of the activity, as
we can have more than one get together for the same PE activity.
Some people are able to PE at any time, but personally I don't like to be
off more than 8 hours from a specific date & time of a PE. That's the
reason I want to put in more than one session for the same PE activity.
I want to do at least one PE session on the exact specified point in
time as "everybody" else.
You may participate in as many PE sessions as you like during the same PE
activity. Some may choose to participate in all sessions for longer or
shorter time.
Time - Moen has
mentioned in this thread that exact time of participation
is not important. But still, for me it's important to keep exact times, as
I'm not sure time is not important. So if you see a specific time of day,
of a specific session, you can be sure that I'll be doing my PE session
at that exact specific time.
My sessions usually last one hour.
The prerequisite being "None" means literally none, the participants not only
don't need to have any experience of PE or nonphysical activity, they don't
even need to declare that they intend to be part of the PE, as their Disk or
their dream self may choose to participate on its own at any time. "None"
also means that the participants don't even have to consider any beliefs
necessary, _not_ even the Monroe statement of
"being more than my
physical body".
I think it can be helpful to others if we know who will participate, so
stating 24 hours in advance that you intend to participate can be a
good idea. You don't need to follow through with your participation,
as our regular lives will interrupt in various ways, anyway.
I'll sometimes put up a list of those who explicitly join, as that may be
important to our group efforts.
I don't know if this is overly detailed or move away some people, but at
least I personally need some structure in these PEs or I'm too easily lost
on what to do. I know that being too specific can block some people, so
I'll try to not be too specific on the activity itself.
Should I come up with better ideas, this version of PE ideas will become
obsolete and be replaced by a newer version, which I'll refer to in later
threads.
This post is not a call for a PE, it's just a template with some explanations.
