Gaining control of the projection consciousness
Feb 5th, 2011 at 4:27pm

Apart from the obvious practice, how do you gain and maintain control of your projection/afterlife activities?

Some sessions, I can place my intent and go straight into the desired scenario/location and stay there indefinitely etc. But others I fell like I'm still at the mercy of the tide. I'm on a sea of varying consciousness levels, going in and out of sometimes dozens of scenarios/interactions. Where I will drift in and out of these scenarios without any control.

Some scenarios I can stay with, others I am whisked away from within seconds despite my intent to stay a bit longer.

I addressed a similar question in http://afterlife-knowledge.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?num=1295620228

I speculated in the possibility that some thing took time to set up, so me doing a lot of energy work would not help me at all times, until the right circumstances were at place.

But no real good guess at it.. Smiley

It seems like developing control of focusing conciousness may be one of the things we are here to learn. I don't think it comes easily. The Buddhists always remind us that meditation helps develope the ability to focus. (I've been hearing a lot lately about "mindfulness" so this must be a topic of broad interest). Or is that just Zen? And in recalling MOnroe's initial book, it seems he just went wherever. Did he exercise a lot of control over where he went, at least initially?

Perhaps the subconcious mind is also involved? Whatever is in the subconcious must surely affect whatever our efforts are to create our reality, and going to a designated "place" obe is surely a form of creating our reality.

Then too, having spent several days on the roof decreasing the amount of snow and ice there, and around the driveway also, I can surely agree with the "recharge" argument!
