I read about a person on hospas tonight.they say when a person begans to start the dieing prosess,he loses a little energy eyery day and that it will mybe about 4 years or more before the last bit of his energy is gone.he then dies.a little at a time.I thought that the energy left our bodies at at the time of our death, all at that the last breath.your thoughts please.

Hi George,

The hospice people are probably just talking about hospice patients, souls that choose a slow, protected, natural process. Other souls get hit by trucks etc while they are still in full vitality.

My Dad chose the hospice way. He had personal changes that could have been caused by energy losses and that process could have started fouor years ahead of his death. I didn't know it was four years.
That's awesome, that the body starts shutting down that far ahead.
Thanks for the information.

It could just be a natural physical process. The astral doesn't need to be involved. When working in hospice for a short period of time, I heard several stories about people living 7-8 years.

If they manage to get out of bed and just move around a little, even in a wheel chair, various physical functions keep working for longer time than 4 years.

George, my understanding is that our higher self has an idea, or maybe even control of when we go...I cannot imagine a customary scheduled four year timeframe of diminishing energy levels.  My grandmother was still walking 3/4ths of a mile down and back up the hill to the grocery store until she was 96...she got sick and asked to go and died within the year.  While there may have been waning energy involved, there was no appearance of it earlier.

It is my understanding that we, as humans, have 'energy' which is expressed and 'remains' for a 'time' over a vast 'area'. In other words, it is not confined to our physical bodies. To be 'in' our bodies requires a certain focus, but that is not 'all' we are. It is the attachment to personality and individual experience that causes us to believe that we are 'personally' confined to a certain 'area' -- i.e. our bodies. When we 'let go' of that attachment to 'the way things are' we find that there is much to contemplate 'elsewhere', even so.
