Costs for Retrieval?
Dec 28th, 2008 at 9:26pm

Are there any costs involved with asking someone to conduct a retrieval? It's kind of murky to me, but I also know to sustain one's physical existence requires compensation costs.

Greetings,

People at this site who have done retrievals have not asked for compensation. The principles of the afterlife are based upon pure unconditional love, 'unconditional' including meaning without requesting recompense.  Finding a spiritualist retriever from a public directory, however, would be like any other business transaction, I assume.

People who have done retrievals, -- or visitations when the passed soul is in a loving place -- do expend time and energy on the effort.
They've done so because of the PUL they experience.

People here who no longer volunteer do retrievals began to realize that doing them for others went against the point of this site -- to get as many people as possible to experience the wonder of these realms for themselves, including but not limited to their contact with their own loved ones.

This is how it seems to me, anyway.  Smiley

Thanks Bets. The reason I asked was that someone on a public website offered to conduct a retrieval for me from an inquiry I made about their experiences in this area. Once I agreed to give it a try, the person then indicated that he charged for the retrieval.

I didn't mind the request for a fee, but it did bother me a bit that the person did not tell me ahead of time that he would charge. Had I known that from the start I would have inquired more of this person's background and done more qualification of this person's experience. The money isn't a matter, it's just the way the person approached the whole situation.
