Do we meet our beloved pets again?
Sep 11th, 2008 at 8:43am

Hi folks,
this is a question that's begun to come to mind, and apologies if this has already been dealt with here (I can't find it in my searches but maybe I missed something).
I was wondering if there are soul connections to our pets, so that when we pass over/go home, we can meet them again and converse with them.
20 years ago I moved out of London to rural Herefordshire and inherited a cat who was simply the most wonderful and (I guess) spiritual animal I've ever met. Sadly, only three months later she died when hit by a car.
This upset me greatly at the time, but here's the interesting part.
My then partner said that I talked in my sleep and said the following:
'It matters not if it be a small animal or a child, the lesson is the same'.
Now a couple of months ago my now wife and I took on two 8 year old cats as their owner has passed on herself. I look at oner of them and wonder if she might be my previous cat come around again for another incarnation.....

Best wishes,

David.

Greetings detheridge and all,

I think our love for the animal members of our families has made it so ! Our love (theirs and ours I mean) forms filaments of soul-connection that go beyond physical life.

Reports come back that pets are accessible in the afterlife. Some people expect that the animals have their own belief system territories up there, from which they can come over for visits with their humans. I don't know how long they can stay but they will be loved !

If you sense that one cat is the cat you lost, you probably don't have to wait for the afterlife for a reconnection! Trust your intuition!  Wink

Sorta relatedly, this morning I woke up to the phone ringing. A voice said it was my brother John who I haven't seen in a lifetime! (Since a previous lifetime he meant. I don't have a brother John now and this was a very vivid dream.) I immediately accepted having John as a brother but when I asked him where he was, he hung up! This relates to this thread because this fellow has earlier promised to meet me at the reception center, promising we'll ride off together on his favorite horse, which he keeps up there.   Smiley  He is always full of surprises!  Cheesy

A medium once told me she saw John with a *huge* dog...I had been asking if he knew what had happened to the most recent dog, far from huge, and I said I didn't know of a huge dog (having totally forgotten that one).  She could have hedged and said "Oh, maybe he's not so big" or something, but she argued with me and said no, it was a *really* huge dog.

It wasn't until later I remembered *his* dog that had died - it was a *really* huge dog!
