The fear of death... and how to Cash IN!!!!!

It's a sad world we live in. Let's face it. Just head to google and do a search for "is there life after death."

Almost every result = the following:

Wondering about the afterlife? Worried about your missing loved ones? Well look no further! I have the answer! Just buy my book/video/tape/cd and everything will be explained!

I'm sorry but you just can't logically believe X person has solved the afterlife mysteries and will sell you X item for X amount of $$$.

The bottom line? What happens after we die? Anything you want! Just buy our product and feel secure!

The sad thing is that people do fall for this. I feel very bad for the poor fools that accept anything without actually testing it themselves. We as humans are given a large measure of intelligence... yet so many humans resort to simple blind FAITH. (Don't get me wrong I am not trying to discourage anyone that has a strong faith in something. If you do and that works for you, more power to you. I just hope you didn't pay money for that faith. LOL)

Hmmm

how exactly should one "test" the afterlife? Or why should it be tested at all, for that matter. I would think the key issue is: to overcome the "fear" of it. I hope one of the posters will give you the real defination of fear. I love it everytime she says it.

Yeah I can empathize your feelings, however on the other hand do understand that I feel when someone acquires information, its nothing bad that they put a price on it, as long as its reasonable of course, after all they "worked" for it too, so why should they hand it to you, me or anyone else for nothing? Huh

You will have to work for your knowledge, one way or another. I`m glad your here. Wink

Bruce doesnt get offended that easy, why should he? It might just be your destiny to find out what you need to find out and if Bruces site can help you along the way, then it will have forfilled its purpose. Absolutely no one is here to "convince" you, you will have to do the homework yourself hon - you will have to do it all alone, as we are born into the body we live in alone with only a few helpers helping along the way, so to join a family and I would seriously suspect going out the same way.

Terethian -

If you dig deep enough, you'll find that most folks who go on and on endlessly about the afterlife are probably scared stiff of dying.

They will glom onto almost anything that gives them comfort including so-called highly evolved disincarnate entities like Seth, Elias, Ramtha, and a whole boatload of others.

They will spend good money going to mediums, hoping for some kind of concrete evidence that their loved ones survive death.

They will buy book after book after book about all manner of things relating to the afterlife.

In fact, some of them end up so chock full of "stuff" (I'm being kind here) that they don't know up from down.

They don't realize that when they believe in everything, in truth they really believe in nothing.

So....they kind of end up from where they started.

Here's the bottom line: No one- absolutely no one- has verifiable evidence that the afterlife exists. For evidence to be verifiable, it has to be able to be replicated. Otherwise it's sheer speculation and nothing more.

Having said all of that, yeah I think the afterlife exists. But I also don't think any of us will ever be able to prove it. And that's just the way it is.
