Bruce - This may be too controversial to ask you on your own website. I want to begin with stating some things I've learned and noticed from reading your books: (1) I respect what you have to say, and think you are a gifted writer. I've read all of your books and have very much enjoyed them. (2) I have tried your workbook but unfortunately got stuck on the 3d blackness section - I couldn't get an image to appear. So I hit a roadblock, but haven't developed the discipline to try to slog through it. This is probably my fault for not sticking with the program after hitting some resistance. However I used to hypnotize my friends and have developed a very healthy respect for the power of suggestion on the human mind. I don't want to program myself enough so that I believe I see images when none are there for me. On the flip side I don't want to program myself enough to prevent myself from seeing images that could be forming - in your lingo one might say I don't want to have a belief system that is preventing my advancement. I am curious if you have any suggestions for this section, but it is not the major thrust of this post. (3) I respect your encouragement to your readers to try to find answers for themselves, and the relative inexpensive cost of your books and CD, etc. It seems to me that you are truly trying to help others explore the afterlife, and are not out for extorting money. I truly appreciate this, and I'm sure others do also. You are not the gatekeeper for the exploration of the afterlife but a helpful mentor that is encouraging us with good intentions. (4) I respect your astral travels. I honestly am a bit skeptical about a couple things, but think for the majority of your stuff you are the real deal (through reasoning, correspondence with reality, the tone of your writing, and the cooberation (sp.) of similar stories from astral travelers from yourself). If even half of your experiences actually happened as you believed they happened then you are quite an amazing traveler indeed (I'm sorry if that statement is slightly insulting, I don't intend it to be).
What I'm curious about is your take on Jesus. I recall from one of your books that you had a brief encounter with Jesus that you saw as a caricature of Jesus that is often portrayed in a Sunday school type setting. Would you say this was your Interpreter's version of what Jesus was like? In other words did you see in Jesus what you expected to see? I am not a conservative or literal Christian, but am wondering if my belief systems can integrate with yours. And if they simply can't, then so be it. Also, I don't think that you will offend myself or most of the liberal, critically thinking Christians on this site if you simply say something like Jesus is a belief system creation in your opinion, or the idea of Jesus was used by a helper for a retrieval. So... what if anything have you found in your travels concerning Jesus?
Lastly, I understand if this is a loaded question that you don't want to answer, as it could be a lightning rod for poor responses. Kind of like someone bringing up religion and politics at the same time at a family reunion dinner table conversation. Its just that for me, if I was an astral adept like yourself, it would be the most important question to answer of all.
