The murder of Redskins Safety Sean Taylor in Florida has affected me like none other, probably since Jim Valvano died of cancer in 1993.

He was an enormous talent, and for those who know very little about football, a player like Sean Taylor comes around once every 25 years for that position. Yet to be killed senslessly in your own home at 24 with a 1 1/2 year old baby girl just does not seem right.

I hope he has made or is making the journey alright. The entrie Washington, DC area is in great pain over his passing, especially millions of Redskins fans. It is simply unbelievable.

If someone can contact Sean and drop a word here - it will give many a reason to feel good about where he is now.
