Juditha's posts regarding communications from the sfterlife got me thinking and I thought you guys might be interested in a story from last year.

I see a very lovely psychic lady named June (she has a lovely soft vibe) who does Tarot readings occasionally. Last time she stopped mid reading  and said she had somebody who wanted to communicate with me.

She described a stocky man in a very carefully and ornately painted horse and cart which had been specially adapted to carry big milk churns to the dairy. Who liked to go there to meet his friends, and who loved horses and nature. Who played violin and was very strong. That he was disappointed that he had died so suddenly as he had things still wanted to do or resolve in life.

The man was my Grandfather, and I often heard an old aunt describe the cart and the set up for bringing milk to the dairy. My grandmother was a hard lady, he was always in trouble with her for dallying there talking hot air, and I often heard my Father repeat the story.   (he completely unexpectedly collapsed and died in a few minutes with a heart attack when he was about 82)

She then passed on some very really supportive and reassuring family stuff from him related to a very specific  issue in what has been a difficult relationship with my parents.

She went back to the reading and a while later another person came through. She described a small fragile lady in a particular layout of garden wearing a particular (and unusual) sort of hat while gathering flowers, and went on to describe our being friends, a house and a room in that house which had been hers. (she gave the colour and pattern of the carpet)

The message was simply to say that she was happy and doing well - I'd been thinking of her quite a lot around that time which was some months after she had died from Alzheimers and eventually a stroke. She was the Mother of a friend, had been very good to me in difficult circumstances as a teenager, and we'd developed quite an attachment. We used to sit and chat in the room described in the very early 70s, I'd been quite upset not to have been able to communicate with here in the last year or so of her life.

These were very significant and meaningful experiences for me. Both people were 100% recognisable, and there were a myriad of supporting details provided in both cases. June could have known nothing of either of them. Yet the descriptions were picture perfect.

She's a gas to listen to - no fading out into trances or anything. It's just like somebody called to her from across the room, she just excuses herself for a minute and just chats away with them.

I don't have anything remotely like her psychic abilities (although I subsequently was able to just manage to communicate with and thank my Grandfather) but I guess I couldn't have been provided with better proof that paranormal communication happens and that at least something continues  to exist after death.

It led to my attending a TMI Gateway programme in Europe late last year, which in turn led to a step in my development too...

Very nice to have an expression of love given through a totaly independent source. How fortunate for you.

Hi vajra The physcic lady June sounds like a really lovely person and she gave a lovely reading for you,a medium once told me that we all of us have the gift to be a medium its just knowing how to open up to it,as when im in circle ,many a week there are new people joining our circle ,who have never tryed to tune into spirit,but as time goes on in the circle its amazing how much they start to recieve from spirit and like those of us in the circle always say excactly what they do receive ,even if its one word or two words ,it always means something to someone in the circle.
