Consider this: most people who claim not have a belief in either or have created a belief. How to you not believe is something that does not exists?
We all carry some beliefs about the afterlife, good or bad. I do not mind questions. From the posts that you have listed thus far, I am wondering if you want a type of reassurance about the afterlife. What I am receiving now suggests that you are at a crossroads in your life and that you are afraid of making a decision, because you are fearful that if it is the wrong decision you will suffer for it. To deal with any belief of the afterlife, you must first acknowledge and understand those that you already have surrounded yourself with at the present time. You will always find a mixture of similiarities and contradictions regardless of the question or topic. What about NDEs who have the most positive experiences without having any, as you suggest, belief. In my experience, I have often drawn to myself experiences that help to reinforce my own belief, my own fear of something and thus found a way out of having to deal with it. The ego does not like to give up control in my experience, but would rather keep us bound to the physical where it has the most influence.
Others here, more well versed in such matters as the concepts of heaven and hell as created through various paths, can offer more EXPERIENCES that will provide you tools. I am confident that all experiences will be treated with respect for what they are: unique experiences, neither right nor wrong.
