What if re-incarnation is just another afterlife option available and not imposed? Most would probably choose to re-incarnate to experience more, not just on this earth plane but as 'vikingsgal' said in other worlds.

Another way of looking it is without judgement, not even saying the purpose is to love or to learn. Maybe we're just here to experience the experience of existence, and re-incarnation is simply allowing us to experience more. We experience more to 'know' more, knowing more leads us to our completeness as god, in god, the oneness, universal consciousness whatever you want to call it.
