Interesting "dream"
Jan 5th, 2007 at 2:12pm

Hi There!

I was wondering if anyone had a similar experience. I had an interesting "dream" the other night. I put dream in quoatation because I do not believe it is not just a normal dream, but a teaching experience. Here is what I remember.

In this dream, I was "dueling" with a teacher who was teaching me how to resists to blasts of pure, hmmm, lust, I guess. The only thing I had to do in the dream was not let go of the stick I was holding in my hands when I got hit by the wave of lust. Everytime I got "hit", the force was overwhelming and I dropped the stick every time.

Has anyone had a similar experience? It didn't feel like a dream, but I'd be happy to know if someone had a similar experience.

Thanx!

I'm not a real interpreter of dreams but it sounds like you suffer humility too much, maybe you worry and you need to let go.

Wynken,

Is it possible that in your dream your "teacher" is your higher self....and the "stick" is your connection to the spiritual realms from which you desire to attain a greater level of understanding to help you with your earthly experiences?

If so, dropping the stick could represent distractions which overwhelm you and which you fear may keep you from attaining your goal.

Yes, it happens to all of us.  However, the fact that you repeat it over and over as if in a type of practice session....seems like a very good sign to me.  I think you are being guided, and that you can trust this guidance.
