If she truely believes that the devil or evil entitees are going to come into her life and hurt her in some way, then I believe that this is a very possible outcome.  After all, we create our own realities.  What she needs to do is realise there is no "devil" and no entity of any kind can harm her if she does not open herself to that possiblity, if she lives in fear that this will happen then I feel it may very well occur.  She needs to know that nothing will happen if she has PUL and she needs to really and truely feel like nothing will ever happen, she has to believe that she will never be harmed.  Once you start thinking you may be possessed or attacked in some way, thats basically like opening a door to invite them in.

I can't imagine a reputable psychic doing such a ceremony,  especially without your friend requesting it.  Sounds like a scam to me, requests for money to follow, that sort of thing.

On the plus side, unlikely any ceremony was done at all, and if it was, unlikely that the "psychic" actually has any ability in that direction in the first place.

If your friend doesn't feel good about this, all she has to do is pray to God and say that she doesn't want anything to do with it. I bet you he already knows how she feels about it.

The whole thing probably has much more to do with an internet psychic trying to make money, than some devil thing.

If I'm allowed to make a summary, I'd say: "Take the money and leave the rest".
