I've been wondering... What is the definition of a perfected state of existence? The word "perfect" is so malleable; undefinable; subjective. What is perfect for one, may not be perfect for another. One definition of perfected is: "Complete of its nature or kind." I suppose to each, perfect would then be their conditions set forth to reach completeness of nature or kind. Still, this concept of "perfect" leaves me cosmically wondering amidst its vastness of subjective definability.

Marilyn hi, hope you had a good birthday yesterday  Smiley

With all my respect to you i just need to add my pov here; you said:  Let the Light in and realize that Christians are going by what they have been told to believe.

I was not told anything by anyone, i found my Love for Christ all by myself.  Wink

I hope Steve, newwayknight, you do not mind me copying a line you said elsewhere:

Quote Steve,
I just wanted to suggest that the concepts of God and faith are likely alot broader than many of God's followers suggest as they try to put God in a "box" so to speak.  I've always found it amusing that many claim to know all the "rules" or "boundaries" of God, etc.

I think think that comment deserves framing!  Steve, i read this post a few days ago and could not find it again so i did a search of your posts under your profile - i would like to say i think you are a very fine character - all your posts are made with such honesty and gentleness, this site is extremely fortunate to have you here and thank you for being a good friend to Juditha.

May you be comforted with the recent passing over of your beloved Dad who i am sure is very very proud of you.

I think death is liberating; it is said that the moment of death is the most glorious event for the Soul.  If we could see 'on the other side' we would behold a sight beyond our normal senses - the rejoicing, the colours, the music, the angels ready to take the hands of us, the family members who have gone before are there ready for re-uniting. There is honour in death - as it is a honour to be here in earth although i believe we should rejoice at death and cry at birth.

Love and peace.

Thank you very much for the kind words.  I am extremely humbled, to say the least!  If you find anything useful in any post I make, feel free to quote or use it as you want to.

I would like to think that each soul is striving for its 'own' perfection. But I also believe that everyone's perfection is essentially in the end equal. That is to truly be at one with god, no feeling of separation. It would be like you were god and everyone else was too. Kind of like universal conciousness.

I suppose 'happiness' is subjective as well. If you were perfectly happy spiritually then you might not want to come back to earth again, although I hear in some parts that we may come back to play a role in helping others whose souls we are close to. Helping them with their progression. These are some reasons why living more than one incarnation makes sense to me.
