Please help, I have no where else to turn.

For about 7 years now, I've been having, hmm... 'dreams'.  I'm not too sure what to call them.  I hesitate to call them visions because, well, I'm still very well aware of where I am and everything around me.

I'm getting ahead of myself, let me walk you through one of these 'dreams'.

It can be anywhere, walking, sitting, laying down, watching a movie, driving, anywhere.  Somthing will trigger it.  somthing that triggers it everytime; looking at my stearing wheel from the right side so I can see both the wheel and the key hole.  Like, I have a very hazy image in my head, from my persepctive and I have to match it up with my sight, like a jigsaw piece.

After I've lined these images up, I'll have a series of almost, scenes in my head.  While these scenes are going thru my head, I'm in a almost vegitated state, I'll interact with people, but only to tell them "hold on" or somthing like that.  Then I get the WEIRDEST feeling like dizzy, but It's a good feeling, a feeling I love, but it quikly turns to an exhausted feeling and after a few seconds of feeling really tired and dizzy, I'll throw up.

It happens everytime in that exact order.

Bird.

When you read that you probably imagined a bird, but you could still see the computer screen, well that's how these 'visions' appear, which is what I mean when I say I'm still aware of the world around me.

The scenes I see?  I never remember after I throw up, it's like it washes it out of me.  But once I tried writing down what was going on as it happened.

Chucky, the little doll from those movies, crawling down an oversized knife.

There's like 5 scenes one after another like that when it happens.

Well, of course my mom was worried, so she asked a few docters, and they all looked at me like I was insane, but really, I'm a normal kid.

So I though, "Maybe it's somthing more?"

That's why I came here.

Anybody?

I'll answer any questions or whatever.

btw, I'm 17/M having these 'visions' since about 10.

Thank you.

Hi Roxas-

Just a brief clinical note - the two common reasons for hallucinatory visions are schizophrenia and hysteria. The former gives images that create fear, so if you don't have "day-mares" then you aren't schizy. Bipolars sometimes have hallucinations too, but they usually are terrifying.

Hysteria is a state in which our sensitivity and imagination lead to a lot of moodiness and emotional variability, which is great for mediumship, plus hallucinatory content that is either enjoyable or at least which is not frightening.

Given this major distinction, your visions appear to be normal, not a dangerous pathology, and my personal guess is that if you were to go a little deeper into their nature, you'd discover a past life related to the same content.

Meanwhile, it appeasrs that your particular personality is oriented toward development of psychic skills.  Nothing wrong with that, except that most people won't be able to understand.  If you want to speed up your development, look into yoga. For example Patanjali's Yoga Sutras or the Hatha Yoga Pradipika (both of these are classics).  Keep on mind that Swami Sivananda used to say that his students could go from "Duhh" to enlightenment in six months if they were sincere and actually practiced.

Best wishes for a wonderful life with your psychic gifts!

Writing down what you saw was a way to get clues. I suggest you keep pen and paper nearby and do the  writing whenever you catch it in time.

It looks as if one part of your mind was trying to tell you things, but another part is trying to censor that.

You might keep a journal of your thoughts and  whatever else is going on when you get the attacks. From reading your journal something might emerge over time.

It took me decades to figure out that I did not have hay fever, but instead, certain thoughts in my head were triggering a running of my nose.

I agree in that you should try and write down anything you can remember.  Sometimes the process of writing makes you remember more.  It also helps to then think the episode over and over in your mind until you come up with something new to wonder about, then look at if from all angles.  That's what I do, because it is very easy to let an experience slip from your mind otherwise.  I find that the more I delve into something, the more I learn just from giving it a lot of thought.

There are different ways to have visions, and the type you describe is very common.  I also understand about you becoming dizzy and drained.  When I have full visions in my head I get exactly like you described.  Luckily I haven't thrown up from it yet though!  Wink
