Chi (Ki), PUL, and Reiki
Nov 28th, 2005 at 9:17pm

My guidance has suggest I start Tai Chi. Being an internal martial art it emphasizes Chi, or internal energy. In Japanese it's known as Ki, and Aikido is another example of a MA that utilizes this.

Since this is energy and can be used for healing as well as other purposes, I'm wondering if anyone knows of the relationship between Chi, PUL, and Reiki. I think I have almost answered my own question here but I'm not sure. I want to say they are essentially the same. Thoughts?

Well, its all part of the Universal energy of Life, and so maybe PUL is also the same, since PUL is also the energy of life and Consciousness itself...  Well not the same, but it is what holds it into place i think.

Prana may also be related, though as i uderstand it there are certain types of prana, like Solar Prana, Breath Prana, etc...  But then again, its the energy of life and vitality.

Maybe PUL is all the above, but with a specific Consciousness and feeling associated with it?  Like PUL is both awareness (a passive/feminine expression) of Oneness and acting out this awareness, giving it forth (active/masculine expression).

Its kind of like the Chakras, they are really just Transformers of Universal energy, and they both receive, send, and alter this  energy.

Each Chakra (in the universal/objective system) refines this Universal energy more, or brings it to a slower vibration...  For example, it gets really slowed down through the 1st Chakra so we can be physically alive in bodies...

But the highest Center, the Crown is pretty much this Universal energy in its pure state...  Its a matter of attuning ourselves to each dimension/Chakra...and then balancing all exrpressions and awarenesses.

Kundalini to me is the raw Earth energy which can rise from the 1st Chakra, and energize all the Chakras potentially, and then we always have Divine, Universal Love energy flowing in through our Crown Center, but most just don't tap into this.

And there is both a negative and positive charge to these energies.

I believe Bruce Moen also practices Tai Chi, so i guess he would be someone to ask?

I definately feel its feminine aspect, but I had no idea the acting out of it is masculine. Interesting. Implies that not practicing it/sharing it means we are out of balance in some respect? Reminds me of what Thomas Merton wrote: "Love can only be kept by giving it away."

That's it exactly!  One can meditate their whole life and feel Source/PUL all they want, but never truly get closer to Source in a Consciousness kind of way.

Its not enough to just feel (a passive state) God, but also to actively Live God and this we do mostly by how we approach others with our inner intent, motivations, and the Spirit in which we actually do actions.  When you give to others selflessly then you are acting like God.  When you put self and its importance over others, and especially at the expense of others, then you slower your vibrations and "forget" God even more, though God never forgets you.

But without meditation, its hard to keep ones center and keep that important balance.

I'm inclined to believe that no human personality can remember Oneness without some form of meditation and silent going within......

Even Yeshua practiced this regularly and he was born in quite the unusual manner, and had a perfectly radiantly healthy body.
