Feeling a spirit....
Oct 2nd, 2005 at 3:09pm

Ok so I'm driving home and its not that i'm not concentrating on the road its just I am a little, kinda tired, kinda annoyed and well i could have been concentrating more....

...anyway i feel something like slap my face! right on the cheek lol it was like a spider web kinda, nice and cool (as in temp) but it felt kinda like a web not like a solid feeling of a hand, it felt like some bits missing if it was a hand? I don't know i took it as a sign to concentrate more and actually that was why i experienced it!

There was nothing that could have possibly caused that in the car, windows up etc and nothing on my face afterwards.....

I would put money of it but just wanted to see what your views are as i really do respect them and love to hear them!

Was it someone waking me up! lol

I think so Ryan. Maybe a guide...or a loved one watching over you.
Got your attention, didn't it??
I felt a similar sensation when my dad died 12 years ago. I had alot of visits from him over the days between his passing and the day of his funeral.....on the night of the funeral, I got home and climbed into bed....I closed my eyes to try to sleep and suddenly I felt a cool hand lightly brush across my cheek and kind of scoop my chin slightly...and then heard his voice....love your children as if tommorrow will never come.
After that, there was no more communication from him....he must have carried on with his journey after that night.
But it was a hand...similar to what you have described. Now take note Ryan...pay more attention to your driving!  Next time you might get a kick in the butt!

I'll have to give it more thought.  My head is full right now as I've tried to catch up really fasting reading all of today's new posts.  Man, everyone is posting like crazy.

Anyway, what do you think it was?  It makes sense that someone was watching out for you and saying Stay Awake!  I don't understand the web feeling though.  Can you explain more?

It sounds to me like it was your guide. You said you were kinda tired and annoyed so maybe your attention wasn't where it should have been.  Wink

wow yeah I'm pretty sure now it was. I was driving and all though i was concentrating on the road I had other things on my mind and i think it was a sign to say well you can think about them when you get home, just concentrate more on getting home for the moment.

The web feeling right place your hand on your cheek right now and hold it there, it feels solid and you can feel the whole hand on your cheek. This felt kind of like the shape of a hand but imagine your hand on our cheek being made up of spider web strings, only a few though. so yourve got some for the rough outline and just a few criss crossing in the middle so lots of gaps! And also slightly cooler (which is another sign i think, are all spirits cooler?) Well kinda of felt like that!

Thanx for the replies!  Smiley

Did u ever read Spider man comics Ryan? you know these guides use our own mind field to impress us sometimes is why I mention Spider man and trying to figure out why they used that imprint for you, although the slapping motion we seem to have figured out..to wake you up to the now moment I suppose.

I once had a friend place both his hands on my face and press (this was out in the astral world) then he took his hands away and they still felt as if they were there..the imprint..you know like, if you wear reading glasses, like I do, and you're looking all over for your glasses, when they are still on top of your head?
thats not what I want to illustrate Grin suppose you take your glasses off, but for some strange reason it seems like you are still wearing them?
well out in the astral that's what it felt like, his hands though removed, still felt like they were on my face and I busted out laughing then.
he only said a few words (this guy is still living too) he said "see, I left an impression on you didn't I?"

we were parting the ways and I suppose I had sort of given up on him spiritually, so he needed some assurance before we said goodbye. it was just funny to me. I had to agree, he certainly knew how to illustrate a point out there.

Hey!

Actually i was never into spider man when i was younger, it was the mutant nija hero turtles haha! lol. The only thing i have ever seen about spiderman was the film that came out I'm afraid...

Do you think theres a reason why it felt webby? instead of being solid or something? Thats quite interesting but haven't a clue as why it would yet!

They definitely can touch you. I've been touched by them a number of times. I've also woken up in the middle of the night and felt them working on my energy body. The next morning my meditation was clearer than it was the day before. Otherwise, without the sense of touch, I can feel them working with my energy quite often. Much thanks and love to them.

yes, I've had several healings occur astrally  myself so can vouch for Recover's story. one time had my throat worked on, another time my back, one time a mole, a Reiki master physically incarnate took all the solar plexus negative energy and literally got rid of it somehow! that was a great day in the morning Imust say! so it's not just non physicals doing healing work. love, alysia
