I have seen a few of them in my lifetime.

When I was about 6 was the first I remember, a lady who used to stand in our hallway in the middle of the night.  I never found out who she was or what she wanted, and even at that age I figured out she wasn't a regular person.  And of course my folks didn't believe me, what's new?

Then there was a ghost I hit with my car!   Cheesy
I was driving alone and turned my head momentarily to look out the side window, and when I turned back a young man traveling with a backpack was standing right in front of my car!  My headlights were right on his middle as he was just a few feet from me.  I slammed on the breaks but it was of no use anyway, I "hit" him but actually drove through him.  Cars behind me were honking, swerving to pass me, etc.  I stopped but could see no one, and no one else stopped.  There just wasn't anybody there.  I managed to drive the rest of the way home, although my legs were like jello and I couldn't stop crying.  When I reached home I didn't know whether to call 911 or dad, so I called dad!  Good old dad, he helped me get calm and not lose my mind.  He actually had me go out and inspect the hood of the car for dents, blood, etc. any evidence of having hit someone.  Also, he asked if I felt a bump which I had not.  So he concluded it must be a ghost or an angel, either someone lost or someone telling me to pay attention to the road!!

Then a couple years ago I saw one in Walmart!  Ha ha, of all places.  This is a long story, so I will shorten it up.  I saw an old man who was staring at me, and it scared me because he looked so scared, upset, discheveled.  He looked perfectly solid except that he was floating, not walking.  I turned away to make him go away but when I turned back he was still staring at me.  He seemed to leave after a minute.  We spent a long time there at Walmart, with eye appt's at the Vision Center and picking out glasses, getting the kids McDonald's (inside the store), and then finally going about our shopping.  While we were down the laundry hamper aisle I turned to look at my husband who was at the end of the aisle asking me something, when I saw the same old man walk by still staring at me!  He was still floating, but what I noticed this time was that his image was superimposed over that of everything else around him.  It appeared visually that he "fit" into the picture but actually it was an impossible fit as he should technically have been bumping into the people around him, which he didn't.  It is hard to explain but that's the best I can do.

This was before I knew more about spirits and the non-physical world like I do now.  I didn't know what to do, like as far as retrievals go and such.  I wish I had been able to help the old guy, he really looked so scared himself.

I'll try to remember if there's any more stories.  Thanks for letting me share!

That is amazing! I wish i could see, I'm not sure why though but do. Maybe i will now i have set out my intention, see i say this but would want to see during the day somewhere, i think it would be a bit freaky and possibly even scary to be walking in my kitchen and walk round the corner and suddenly someone standing there, i would think someones broken in! lol

I believe I'm beginning to be able to see spirits, very slowly.  It's not like watching a ghost walk by in the movies.  I always assumed it would scare me but it feels normal.  What I'm having difficulty with is getting sound, getting words.  With everything, the visuals are easier for me.  I've always thought they were there and sort of assumed I couldn't see them,  how silly to think I could, but now I am beginning to accept the possibility....that it would be okay in my world for that to happen.

Blink so you actually see them!? When did you first notice? How did you go about it, did you just say i accept the fact i can see them and want too? And how do you tell, from what I've read, e.g. the stories on here and Vicky meeting her guide they seem as real as any other human on this earth, so how do ya tell, do they all float instead of walk! lol

Just intrigued, i really am open to all this and want to be able to explore everything. Oh and hwere do you see them? I'm not sure if I'd like the fact to walk round the corner and suddenly walk into a spirit lol would make me jump a bit!

I see them. In fact I have seen more of them in the last six months or so than I have previous to that altogether. BUT, I can't just walk in somewhere, turn on a switch, and see whoever is there. I see no pattern to when I see them or where.

The best one was right before I went to Iraq. I walked into my place of work and one walked right past me like it was cool or something. I stood there and watched it go past for about five seconds or so. It was only about two feet from me when it passed my front. It didn't even look at me. I have seen one at my current workplace, and saw one a few days ago at a pizza joint.

This is not counting shadows, sparkling flashes of light, and just sensing them enough to point to them even though I can't see them. And oh, walking right into their energy and having the hair on my head and neck stand up too.

I seem particulary sensitive to them. Since I am doing retreivals in my sleep, I think that is why I they are drawn to me. I don't mind as long as they don't do anything stupid, and so far none of them have.

I'm sure I've walked through a spirit before.

We had a theory there was the ghost of a man who would stand in the hallway at 3:30 am.

I remember waking up at about this time and walking through the hallway. However, for about three seconds it felt like I was walking through a really strong breeze but no temperature change.

Does that make sense?

Ryan, I can't say for sure that what I have seen are spirits.  I used to sense energies around me at times.  However I have seen a few faces.

No, I don't do anything special and I'm not sure why it has started, or even if it is real.  I won't know until I can see a regular pattern to it.  It's not something I have specifically asked for.  That's about all I can say about it.

I think I posted this before, but I will post it again.6 year ago, after crossing all the school kids,I was about to go home.It was than that I saw another kid coming down the road.so I waited for her.As she got closer,I noticed she was whearing strange looking gear, like little girls wore back in the 40s.When I looked at her face,I knew who she was.It was my little playmate who died 60 years ago.I was shocked and could not speake. She said hello, but I could not talk.I could not beleive it.I told her hair was nice.she said thank you.It was fixted in ringlets.Than the the most amazing Thing happened.Marys mothers face began to form on the side of hers. Her mother died at the age of 80.but seeing her face now,she looked like she was in her 20s.I was about to ask mary a question, but she vanished. This story is in about 4 books. She looked just as solid as I am.Love George

Aye, but this is not that unusual.
The occasion was a sunny evening when a man 'joined' our wee group who were blethering just before our 'circle'.
This was out of doors.
It appears that if conditions are suitable and a desire or need is present folk can show themselves if they wish.
The guy in question was not seen by all present, but was readily recognised from their description.

My little granddaughter is 4 years old.....she has been seeing someone since she was an infant, old enough to focus her eyes. This person, ghost, has made her laugh, giggle and given her guidance. To this day she still talks to this person....none of the rest of us has seen this ghost that she talks too....but we have seen her react with it. It's bizarre to see. She says this ghost is her gramma......I am thinking it might be my mom? Or maybe a gramma from a previous life?
I have had some conversations on Lynns forum with Sydnei over these things and other stuff....and I am convinced that MiKayla is an Indigo child.

she probably is an indigo. I'm curious what decade the Indigo children began incarnating? or maybe thats up to the child which time period they want? i think most of them wanted to come in with the shift era. to help speed things up perhaps.

Hey Alysia!!! From what I have read on Indigo kids, they think it was about 20 years ago when they started to incarnate. Everything that I have read so far on these kids, describes her perfectly. If you haven't read up  much on this, you should. It is incredibly interesting stuff.
