Your Afterlife?
Sep 13th, 2005 at 6:59am

We all create our own private universe in the next realm. Would anyone like to share their vision?

For example, mine is a lush, magical forest dwarfed by magnificent mountains and water-falls. I'll go into further details later.  Wink

Would you like to share yours?  Smiley

I wish for a place that can combine nature with magnificent buildings where one can go in and learn, or meet others for different activities.
Music auditoriums where all the greatest musicians will play, and where on special days Jesus will come and talk to us. Pure, clean love surrounding and making everyone so bissfully happy....
This is the first that comes to mind for me.

Peace, Love and Light.

Sandra.

My 'place' in Focus 27 is a huge version of the Swiss Family Robinson treehouse like the one at Disneyland. I always loved that. There's many other things there too, a lake, a stream, meadow, mountains on the other side of the lake, tons of beautiful flowers everywhere, many animals wandering by, a huge pink crystal where I go to recharge my energy and so on. Also a central 'meeting place' for visitors. Once it was full of many, many people who I recognized as my I/There or Disk. I asked if they had anything to say to me.  They yelled in unision "keep doing what you're doing, you're doing great." LOL  I was so thrilled to finally see them. Wink  I forgot to mention that the lake is full of dolphins that I go swimming with. Wink

With Love, Mairlyn Wink

Mine is a place where everyone close to me can be, and stay and i can see everyone again, it would be a natural setting, with a nice wooden house i guess. Something i can wake up to and admire every morning, lovly blue skys and sunny days. I could see all my family there and do anything i wanted too. It would be a place where you would go and instantly feel uplifted and happy and everyone gets on and has a laugh. I can't really describe it too much as its indescribable. i think there would have to be a place where i can play my bass and also race my karts! lol, have to spoil it dont i! lol

when I first began studying retrievals I found a school out there in my imagination. this is where I would hang when i had spare time. it was by the beach. there were trees and foliage and a patio. the kitchen faced the sea. inside were others like me who were learning to retrieve sitting around or milling, in the living room. guides would come for us when they needed one of us for a "run." Monroe showed up to check out the newbies. I was shy. I just said "hi!" I couldn't hear what he said so I became invisible. he tried to say something to me.  later he came to me in my conscious and we smiled at each other. I was in my body, i was wide awake. I was embarrassingly shy. he wasn't. I said, what cha doing out there, now you're not here? He said I get around a lot, I have more than one vehicle to get around in. I thanked him for writing his book and that was about it. I think it's important to thank authors that you really enjoyed reading, otherwise they may not know they made a difference in your life. Cheesy love, alysia

oh, yea, I forgot about the latte stand in the sky, just before a retrieval I'd go get some caffience first! there was always somebody there.

What a pleasant question to think about, Luke.  It's great to hear everyone's ideas here on their perfect place.

I think mine, for the moment, might be a lush green countryside near the ocean.  Beautiful trails to walk, perhaps some mountains in the distance.  When I approach the quiet town at dusk I see soft lights through the windows.  I realize these soft lights are the beings who live here.    No streetlights are needed.  We illuminate our own paths in this place.   I hear faint music in my head.  The most beautiful voices are heard here amid the velvet shadows...and everyone has had a perfect day.

love, blink

It's been nice reading all of these answers.  I keep trying to create my place and I end up making changes all the time!  Can I borrow some of your guy's ideas?

Great responses, everyone! Now for a thorough description of my universe.  Wink

Initially I stand in a huge, lush forest. The sound of hundreds of birds and insects can be heard all around. The ground is covered with a multitude of different coloured flowers, especially blue bells.

A sparkling stream gently flows through the forest, and is surroudend by wet rock and moss. Different coloured crystals grow naturally on the rock. The stream flows into a shallow pool, in-which two unicorn play and drink. Looking up a grassy hill, my cottage can be seen. It's very mystical. Has lot's of wind-chimes etc.

I plan to reincarnate over and over again, until I'm the highest Guru ever, and everybody bows at my feet. Just kidding. Just kidding.

Seriously, I don't know what my afterlife World will look like.  Sometimes I get this sense that I'm going to exist as a conscious energy being, with no specific surroundings. Perhaps I'll check out what kinds of homes other people created, and ask if I can hang out a bit. Perhaps I'll stay at a motel 6. I'll see, I'll see.

Oh, I've thought about this myself.. I'm thinking I'd like a summer house near a lake. There's a small peer there, with a wooden rowing boat. I can sit by the lake or go out on the peer, lay down and look down to the bottom. Maybe there's fish there.. you know when you're a kid and enjoying a lazy summer day. There's nice cool breeze to keep everything pleasant, and big, tall trees to climb in. I could climb to the top and have a good look at the landscape and see how the animals are doing, maybe I have a small treehouse up there where I can read..

I like thunderstorms, don't get many of them around here. There could be one rolling by once in a while when the trees and plants feel like it, just to add a little unpredictability to it. Also, after a rain storm the air is so refreshing.

The summer house doesn't look very big from the outside, but if you go in there may be lots of rooms for different purposes and many floors.. with all kinds of state-of-the-art technology and modern furniture. Maybe the house extends underground.. I could have a room underneath a stream or the lake. The ceiling is made of glass, so I could look up though the water, and the sunshine lits up the room.. you have these changing patterns that happen due to the waves on the water.
Of course, the house may also have doorways that leads off to places created for adventure and thrill, like shortcuts to other dimensions. I could go on and on about this..  Grin

(I came to think after writing this that I had a period as a kid, where I liked to draw pictures of houses with a zillion rooms and floors, as if there was something magical about it. Maybe I'm simply remembering a place that is already there)

My favorite…HERE AND NOW!!!

Much of the rest… ‘been there…done that…got the T-shirt’.

If you don’t make where you are heaven (or at least the best it can be),  then (in my opinion) you will never find it anywhere.

Just my observation…

To make it fine here in the physical you need to imagine how...and -click-  we're in the realms of imagination! And why not create a pretty house when we're walking along there already?
bye, spooky

I agree, when we dream a little we also access the energies of those dreams, and it'll help to attract better circumstances into our lives. (That's the theory, at least, and I'm doing my best to put it into practice.  Smiley )
