A visit from a friend..
May 3rd, 2005 at 5:04pm

I was sitting on the couch, surfing the internet when I heard a car pull up and someone get out.
I heard someone walking up the walk.  I just knew someone was coming to see me.
I had the impression that it was my friend Vicki.  I even called her name.
Then remembered..she died some months ago.
I first met her about 30 years ago, through her sister.
Then I met her later..when our children were around 2.  They are 24 now.
She was a pentacostal Christian..I'm not sure where she ended up when she died..I had not sensed her at all in the intervening time since her death..until today.
I have to wonder..was she here?  It felt like her.  Was she reaching out?  Or..is she confused on where she is?
Any help would be greatly appreciated..

that was neat Shirley. I got chills reading it. you heard the car door slam?
that happened to my sister also, so I know they can work this way. I'd say you're working on another level with her. see what develops in the days ahead, maybe a dream or some inner conversation going on. wished I could have met you when you were here in roswell. love, alysia

Me too, Alysia..I guess our timing was all wrong Cry

I tried last night to focus on her.  My dreams were mixed up..confusing and hard to remember.  But, I do remember being very active.  Dreaming all night, soon as I dozed off..(and kept waking up)

I heard the car door..and someone shuffling up the walk.  She shuffled, because she had both knees replaced..she had rheumatoid arthritis.  She was young too, only in her 40's.

I remembered my dreams when I got to work.  Good thing too!  I had done a computer input thing all wrong for two days in a row.  That was in the dream..that it was wrong.
I checked..and was able to fix it.  It would have been a major issue, with big implications, fines and such..
So, maybe tonight..I'll see my friend.  Or, maybe she was there, to tell me what I had done.. Cheesy

Shirley & Alysia,

Boy-I sure feel the love and the light on this thread-so I thought I’d hop in before it got dense. Shirley, as you were describing your vision, I thought of the time that I was taking a nap and I heard my husband opening the front door and calling his usual, “Hi hon!” and I went to get up to greet him but I couldn’t move. ???  I figured that it must have been a dream and relaxed and continued sleeping. But then, within is 3-4 minutes, he really did come home and the whole thing was a duplicate to sounds and greeting and just everything-replayed exactly as the “first” time he came in.  At the time, because I had been reading books on precognition, etc. I was able to say WOW it’s one of them there things.  The sense, or level of consciousness that I was in reminded me of what level you might have been in to feel your friend coming up the walk.  I expect, as I get more comfortable working in this level, I will have more adventures.  Also, since I have been such a reader of peoples various experiences on being human for so many years without actually getting out in the mainstream, I’m now immersing myself in the mental health field.  I’m discovering the light and love in people, as I never have before, in spite of their “frame of mind” or situation.  I’m also learning how to really listen to them and to listen for my inner guidance before responding.  It’s no longer theory for me.  I love it!  And the love seems to be going both ways.  I also believe that my current experiences are helping me to not be as afraid doing retrievals on the nonphysical level because I am getting exposure to people who are feeling pretty down and confused-but beautiful.  All the dynamics going on at this time on the board, have motivated me to finally get a decent CD player and send for Bruce’s’ newest training series.  I'm looking forward to it.

Alysia, When's it coming out, when's it coming out, when's it coming out???  Cheesy Cheesy

Light and Love to both of you, Jean

Jean hope you like Bruce's tapes. a friend sent me a set I enjoy. Shirley, heard from your lady friend within dream state?
about the love Jean, doesn't shirley's picture make you smile? some people just seem more familiar than others when you see their face. might be something to that. the book is coming..it gets better and better! I often tell myself alysia, you could die tomorrow and your book is not done! this kind of logic however does not make spirit work faster. lol. thanks for your interest, it means a lot to me....

I remember when I was younger having things happen that one might consider "precognition" and thinking it was pretty cool. What strikes me now is that I never thought it was strange or other than normal, just that I enjoyed when it happened.

I also remember when I was very, VERY young (not much beyond living in a crib, and it's all I remember from being that young) having experiences where I was able to be upstairs, supposed to be asleep, but being able to more or less will myself downstairs to where my parents were entertaining friends. They couldn't see me and weren't aware of my presence. I remember that I had to "make" myself real small and then I could just go anywhere I wanted to go. I remember being somewhat amused at being able to sit on people's shoulders while they had no idea I was even there (I know this sounds weird.) I was extremely young at the time and only remember a feeling of enjoying watching adults having a good time and enjoying each others company. It was all very innocent as far as I was concerned. No "spying" thoughts or anything like that...I just wanted to be where people were socializing and having fun. I'm still that way. I enjoy very much being where other people are enjoying themselves.

I wonder if we lose some of these abilities that are probably there when we're born and then we get them back when we get older. I'm thinking once we get to an age where we're kind of settled and have more time to meditate and be a little more introspective. I feel sometimes like I'm at a stage where I'm ready to kind of touch base with that younger version of myself and get back to seeing things with more innocent eyes.

Or is that corny?

of course you're not corny Dan! our world is quite corny. I haven't heard that word corny used in some time. lol. cornball, I've heard that one. I would be proud if someone called me a cornball, ha ha! it sounds like you have set your own course to as you say return to those thoughts when you could sit on the shoulder of your folks, just hanging. btw, thanks for telling us about that, because I've never heard a story quite like that and these kind of sharings is what gets folks to thinking about we are more than we think we are. although I admit one I was very tiny as a spirit and became trapped within my mouth observing my teeth which were hideously large at the time! lol. never sat on anyone's shoulder! well, there was a retrieval of a fireman once; I was tiny, tiny, tiny, like a bug, or a butterfly, flitting in front of his charming face. he was so sad. I didn't know what to do but be silly, flitting about, I danced back and forth. suddenly he saw me! and he grinned. some guides came then to take him from the rubble. I guess we can be very small or whatever form we wish in our true state but comes a time we're not threatened by this idea at all but it's kind of freeing to consider.
Jean, been thinking about what you said, that u are discovering light and love within people...me too! I used to have difficulty getting qualified handymen, the other day I called someone out of the newspaper, wondering if he was the "right" one. he came out and said he couldn't do the job. I was surrounding him with light anyway, not fear. 2 days later he calls me and said "I was thinking about your problem, and I found some guys who will do the work." ?? a bunch of things like this is working, like synchronicity, finding the right people without working at it, people extending themselves with their best behavior, I can't take anything that is happening for granted so I relate to how you are seeing the beauty of people, even when they are expressing something quite different.
