Heaven on  earth

The bible talks of earth being changed into a paridise, and that the meek would inherit it.There would be no more death, and plenty of food and water for all. This is to happen when the christ comes back to earth, and everyone would live in peace and joy.I would like this to happen now,how about you people.we could have access to heaven as well as earth.Any thoughts on this or am I thinking over my head.George

I think if you believe it George, and you want it, you have something to do with creating it just like you said; no want, no hunger and a land of plenty. I also think/believe there already is realities and planets where no wars take place and no subjective experience takes place. that might be like paradise for some, on the other hand a hollow heaven for another. The Christ consciousness has always been here and the kingdom is within. it's up to each person what happens here as we are all connected and effecting of one another. I do know something for sure: I'd really hate to be on a planet where I was the only person. lol. might get bored. ...

George, I agree with Alysia. We all have the Christ Consciousness within us no matter what religious preference everyone has. It is and always has been here within us. We just have to access it.  Ask and it shall be given. Listen to the still, small voice. Wink

As a Christian, I do believe this will happen at some time in the future -- possibly very soon.  My own opinion is that when Christ returns, the veil between the dead and the living will be lifted, and dead people will be able to come to earth and be seen and heard, and those living in physical bodies on earth will no longer believe that death of the body is the end of life.  This is what is described in the Bible as the "general resurrection" of the dead.  I also believe when Christ returns, the first spirits to return with him will be saintly people who exemplify the Christ-Spirit of love and compassion and righteousness, and they will work with Christ to build the Kingdom of heaven on earth.  It is then that earth will enter into the next stage in its evolution, which will be full membership in the spirit world.  Aliens and angels and all kinds of advanced beings will be more obviously present on earth at this time, because earth will no longer be a young world for newly developing souls -- it will become part of the larger universe of advanced spiritual beings.  Perhaps the newly developing souls will need to incarnate on some other planet from that point on, because earth will have moved beyond that stage.  I think planets grow up just like individuals do.  There's no doubt that for the past few hundred years earth has been in the throes of a wild (and often irresponsible) adolescence.  But maturity will come, and Christ will help us with the transition and coming of age.
