First tiny retrieval or a dream?
Jan 19th, 2004 at 5:16pm

Hi Bruce and everyone,

When I meditate I often see people and objects - sometimes places. I've never done any type of retrievals. The people have always just flashed by. I always thought they were my imagination. Today, I saw a little girl sitting very clearly on a porch swing on what looked like my grandmother's (passed in '79) porch. The girl had long blondish brown hair and was so cute; she just sat looking at me. Then, I saw a tiny girl I thought to be about 3 being walked up to the porch by somebody else. Their backs were to me, but I saw the little girl had her hair up in 2 short ponytails on either side of her head. The person with her disappeared, and she turned around just enough to where I could see that she was crying. I felt concerned for her and wondered what was wrong, but it didn't even occur to me at first that she might be lost. I didn't think about it but all of a sudden just said to her, "It's okay. There are people there waiting to help you. You'll be okay." She looked at me and I said, "Go ahead and go where that light is. They'll help you." And then the whole scene disappeared. That was it. I know I wasn't asleep because I was aware of other things in my house going on, but I might have been daydreaming.

Just curious to hear opinions on this.

Thanks,
Julie

Julie,

The description of our experience bears strong resemblance to many, many retrieval stories.  That you were awake when it happened is quite normal.
