In Chapter 12 he spoke of a study Dr. Michael Sabom did.

He asked 25 medically savvy patients who didn't have an NDE what takes place when a doctor tries to restart a heart. 23 of these people made mistakes.

On the other hand, only two of the 32 patients who had an NDE and observed what took place while they were resuscitated, made mistakes when they described what took place during their resuscitation. Such patients observed what took place as they had their NDE.
