We only observe a tiny part of total reality?

Not drug induced!

While in an altered state of consciousness I had revelations about how poorly we use or understand our bodies, what a great and potential and extremely precise instrument it can be, if we really try to learn how to utilize it to its full capacity, as the great gift it from the Divine who put our souls in this mortal vehicle, for the brief moment we will exist as mortal beings on planet earth . Our brains are as far as we know is the most complex material thing in the physical universe.

Our body and brain/mind body are a composite instrument of interconnected cells that communicate with each other in order to maintain the balance of an harmonious whole of an instrument of unimaginable precision, if only we learned and practiced how to use it as one combined entity.

During an altered state of consciousness, I tried to become aware and of how to utilize my entire psychical body as one great thinking mind/machine and how to really utilize all of its senses, instead of just those that originated from the neurons, connections and synapses of the brain.

I became slowly aware of the intensity of colors that were unimaginably beautiful and countless not normally observed, using my entire body as one great eye if you like.

Everything, began to blaze with high definition dimensions of, colors bright and beautiful, looking out at my garden I saw that the flowers had begun to shimmer with living light of a million hues, and that all things living or even the inanimate, had unique harmonious vibrations.

I could then see that most of us go around partially deaf , blind and with senses dimmed that we only sensing just the reality we need to live a so called normal life. Our ears are constantly battered by noises for which they were not designed, thus much of for the beauty of sound is missed by most of us. By experimenting in the quiet of a peaceful night of  velvet dark, I began to learn to hear the singing from some distant source, joined quietly, in their strange plaintive songs, within what might have been a heavenly host.

Everything vibrated at its own particular frequency one could see that music had colors , that sounds had fragrance, that gently touch had sound, that music had taste and touch. My whole body as one entity absorbed vibrations of life, much more intensely than our normal grey like dim perception of the true reality of the wonder and beauty of the world around us.

It was during this brief event that I came to realize that I had never come remotely close to knowing what an almost infinite precise instrument a human's whole body really was/is.

It is not only the brain that perceives reality; each cell is individual aware part of my body. Our bodies should be utilized like one composite entity. Then even in this material realm of ours we can make a heaven on earth, albeit momentarily.

With practice it is possible to switch to seeing with ears, tasting with eyes, listening sense of taste, smell and feel. Every atom, every cell, every organ of a person’s physical body can exist as one harmonious whole, as one intelligent composite living being.

In this heightened state of awareness it is possible to see everything in the minutest detail, things that were in the past simply overlooked or just shrugged off as an unimportant where now messages and information of which we are unaware of in a normal state of consciousness.  Who knows it might be possible to plug into the universe at large while like this and join the stars with the song of creation.

If we were to learned how to utilize the amazing precise sensory organ that is our entire body, it would be possible, this state of awareness, to stand still and hear the chirp of a billion birds which seemed to me to be little quantum particles flashing in the mind of God. They sing the song of existence and creation and we are mostly deaf to their beautiful song and its real meaning.

Learning to use the whole body, as one great sensory instrument, one could perceive things that normally go completely unnoticed. Looking carefully with all our combined bodily senses it is possible to read the messages from the things in the world at large and out far into the greater cosmos at large. Even from rocks, water, trees, they all contain information, as some sort of field of energy , that persists around them.

Perception of things as minute as a vibrating electron, or the great expanding universe, existence of the past, present and future, come into the realms of possibility.

If we tried to observe with great care, using all our senses we would see everything, taste, smell, feel, hear, breathe, and see much more of all of the total reality around us and be able to use our intrinsic endogenous psychic intuitive abilities, that I believe all humans have.

Objects like a rock or brick all vibrate with its own frequency causing images and sounds to exists in their locality, just like a DVD recording I believe. Put your hands on any object, ridiculous as this sounds, be patient and wait and you might begin to see and hear things emanating from them. Everything, without exception, in my opinion around us, contains a record or information or memories if you like.

If we use our entire being as one instrument hardly anything would overtake us as a complete surprise, as we become much, much more aware of our total reality and hear the song of creation all around us most of the time. Of course one must also learn how to edit and block out garbage information.

I could hear in my mind every words what some people were thinking, and I had to close my mind against the cacophony of meaningless babble, until I could filter it out and hear the beauty of glorious, like minded people all around me, both human and animal. I did could not invade their privacy.

However, one time I had to retreat in shock and horror from the dark bleakness from some real depraved thoughts that sometimes entered my mind. And learned to filter them out and learn to accept and embrace all that is beautiful and loving about our beautiful blue water planet and the unimaginable wonder of the universe and God from out of which it was born.

My body, mind, soul and spirit while my inner being was stilled could really hear, feel, see taste smell and merge and download from what I call the Super- Consciousness I even seemed to expand in such unimaginable exhilaration that my finite mind and self embraced all of creation.

I supposed I might have observed and understood everything as if I were God, for an infinitesimal tiny intense wondrous moment and then I reverted back to self.

Alan, that post of yours, it brings me some relief.

Alan is not alone in having had such experiences.

There are many around the world who have experienced such altered states of consciousness.

There are some who experience them frequently; when in their soul they reach within and up to God, and simultaneously reach without to man and breathe God's love between the two, from God to man through heart, as prayer and love and faith combined.

And when the volume and potency of love exceeds the knowledge of the physical senses, and if one be able and worthy, and if it be necessary, then the further senses of the soul may open up so that the worker may see the work that's being done.

A strong love of God, of truth, of life itself, and of freewill and its potential to learn, may likewise open wide the senses of the soul. For such things cannot be comprehended via the familiar mundane physical senses, and as the soul's love for these greater things exceeds the limits of the mundane senses then the higher senses come into operation.

I agree with Alan, that the potential for these wider and deeper perceptions exist in everyone. Love is the key. But not love as a means to acquire such perceptions, for that is not love that is self interest, but just love, as service to others, service to their growth and learning as souls; for one's priorities must coincide with universal priorities, and such extra sensory perceptions are no priority except as servants to love which has the priority.

Although the numbers of people who frequently experience such altered states are many, their number is small compared to the billions of people on Earth; and they tend to be spaced out.
(no pun intended)
oh no, now I've got the giggles.

I don't believe your experience, along with most of what you have posted in the past about your amazing, self aggrandizing experiences, because I expect that an extremely spiritually developed human being would behave decently and truthfully to others, in contrast to your past behavoir.  However, it is possible you have had some experience, and of course it's unverifiable.

One important point I'd like to make here - there is a name for the experience that people have when they experience their whole brain at once.  It's called having a grand mal seizure.  The myth that we experience only part of our brain at once and that if we could interact with more of it at once we would be enlightened or something similar is just that - a myth.  Note I'm not discounting real spiritual experiences here, nor the feeling of oneness with others / creation as being a valid possibility for spiritual experiences.  However trying to link it in an extreme way to physical brain activity is simply wrong.
