FLY ME TO THE MOON
Mar 2nd, 2013 at 5:01pm

Was this an OBE or a dream ?:  Sometimes these experiences can be so close that it's hard to tell.  Suspect it may have been an OBE because of the detail.

It will be your call.

Just had one of the most vivid dreams that I have ever experienced in a long time. Not even to sure it was a dream because of the very happy feeling that followed it.

Dream: I was driving on the freeway in heavy traffic and admiring the beautiful moon starting to settle in the western sky.

As the sky got darker, noticed a lot of tiny dark blue spots starting to form around it. Felt a sudden lightness, shot through the windshield towards it.

My thoughts, the "powers that be" were finally going to let me visit the moon again. Was stopped in the past.

As I got closer, the sky darkened , the moon became brighter as the blue spots popped up again, like I was being escorted to it. As I flew to the moon at a very high speed, time speeded up.

The moon disappeared. Suddenly, I was on Gaia in its early stages of growth before the moon was even there.

There were giant mountains and cliffs everywhere. Kept hearing a beautiful soft song that permeated everything. Time speeded up even went faster at this point.

Large numbers of small plants and animals started to evolve at a high rate. I was one of those a small life forms falling down a steep cliff, several miles high, into a deep canyon. A voice said that this was where you started your adventure into earth living.

The spots turned out to be guides and advanced beings who were guiding the transition to the new Gaia and getting it ready for us.

I was marveling at the awesome beauty and feeling very grateful for this powerful experience as it slowly ended.

No clues on this one. Woke up feeling very happy because it has been a long time since I have had a dream this vivid.  Bob  Smiley

Greetings Bob.

Since you were driving in heavy traffic when your vision occurred, all that you remembered must have happened briefly in this physical time period for you to not have an accident. I understand time displacement because I experience it in dreams many times.

You mention seeing this planet before The Moon first appeared. Here is an article that you may be interested in reading:

I don't know if you are familiar with Sumerian writings but the legend of Tiamat somehow makes sense to me. They say that Earth / Gaia is what remains of the planet Tiamat which was struck by Nibiru and shifted to a closer orbit to The Sun with a large chunk becoming The Moon and the rest of the debris becoming the asteroid belt.

A lucid dream, I think, because it is so archetypal.
Interpretation:  You are driving in highly congested traffic.   You feel overwhelmed by your multiple problems and the many issues you must currently address.  Then your gaze is drawn to the moon. The moon is an archetype representing both madness and the unconscious, with its suppressed agendas and longings.  Your occasional feelings of being overwhelmed by your life's congestion sometimes make you fear you might be losing it.  But your problems have too often caused you to detach from your emotions and just live in your head.  Hence, in the dream, you previously been prevented from tsoaring to the moon.

The dream is telling you that must face your fear of losing it and go deeper until what is really driving your impulses and reactions bubbles to the surface of your unconscious.  The blue dots you see are initially distant, symbolic of the truth that if unconscious needs are identified and confronted they will come closer to you and guide you to fresh grasp your noble quest (Blue symbolizes royalty or nobility), which life's congestion has often caused you to neglect.

The beautiful azure blue you saw reminds me of a  helicopter ride to the top of a 400 ft. moving glacier out side of Juno, Alaska.  Atop that glacier, the ice was pocked with unbelievably bright azure blue color.  I heard a roaring water fall deep within a huge cravass, and when I looked down, the azure blue was even more intense; it was everywhere.  The air was so fresh.  Observing this, I felt like I was reborn.  It was the single most stunning encounter with natural beauty I have ever experienced.

You then are brought back to the early stages of evolution, which is greatly sped up for the purposes of your lucid dream's symbolism.  The new life forms you witnss symbolize the creativity that might be released if you realize and master your unconscious desires rather than have them repressed by mental detachment prompted by emotional suvival needs.

Bob,

What a fantastic experience. I'm not an expert on OOBing, but your experience brings to mind what happened to Bruce Moen once while he was driving a car. He suddenly found himself cruising above his physical body as it continued driving, for I think several seconds. I had a few spontaneous OOBEs which involved zooming out quickly and being escorted by guides, and as soon as I'd re-enter my physical body I'd 'wake up'. Did it seem to you that you had lost consciousness during the experience while driving?

Much love,

Ginny
