Hi Abstractone,

  You are, as far as humans go, the best person to interpret your dream.  You must figure out what each symbol means to you.  Use your intuitive feelings and calm your mind some first to tune in. 

  Here is a brief example, if it was my dream.  I view weed as being an escape--often a way for people to escape their problems.  Lotion for me, represents either comfort or soothing, or because it's a way to improve the skin but only on a "surface" level, it can represent shallow or somewhat fake healing. 

   The fact that it is weed lotion, can really strengthen the notion of fake or shallow healing, perhaps relating to trying to escape one's problems without really dealing with them. 

   This is just to give an idea of the process of interpretation.  But also use your feelings, and interpret according to how you view, perceive, and feel about the various symbols being used. 

  Perhaps a long shot, but is your Mom really getting into religion or New age beliefs lately, or perhaps getting even more involved and entrenched in them?

  In my experience with dreams, others in a dream can represent aspects of ourselves, or it can be more literal--more about them.  It really depends, and again you are the best to interpret it.  I don't know, offhand, if it's more about you or more about your mom and/or your relationship with her.
