Afterlife Conversation
Mar 8th, 2012 at 2:51pm

Found this on a sub-site on Paranormal Phenomena. It was written by a guy called Harry.

Afterlife Conversation by Harry

"I've been surrounded by the occult for ages -- since I was a child. I delved in without any mentor or anything, along with a group of friends that I led into it. The number of strange occurrences in my life are too numerous to really count, so I'll stick with one that will be easy to understand.

In April, 2000, my uncle was diagnosed with pretty much a terminal organ failure; he held on until August of that year (the location of the hospital I can't remember but he was in Florida and he used to live in Spring Hill.) I was living in California at the time, in Saugus.

The night before he died, I dreamed that I had a conversation with him -- not like a dream of a conversation, but a full conversation touching on every subject you could think of, including his impending death. He told me it was all going to be fine, that a lot of what we are taught is not true, merely what man has added to help explain the mysteries of the universe.

Anyhow, when I woke up I knew he was dead. Seconds later, my mom knocked on the door and told me. What she didn't tell me then was that he didn't die from his terminal condition, but from suicide. I don't care if you take the story with a grain of salt or not, but I know what I saw, felt, smelled, heard, and read in that dream. Consider it my proof to the world that there is an afterlife."

HI KarmaLars,

What do you mean by sub-site?  Do you have the link to the site?

I believe in these dream visits because I've had so many of them myself.  For the sake of being technical and specific, I call them OBEs but it doesn't matter what one calls them.  They are visits.  I've had several OBE visits with living people, while in the sleeping/dreaming state, where it feels just as real as physical life.  The conversation and visit can last for what feels as long as a real-life visit would, down to every detail.  I've done what I can to confirm and verify the information I experienced in the visit and have had uncanny things verified, things I'd have no normal way of knowing.  I've also had them with those who have passed on.

Very fascinating topic!

Karmalars...I have no problem with what you cited.  I feel sure that my true "home" is on the other side, not encased in this material world.  I recently read that one's guidance once equated death to the sun setting...a new dawn brings a new life and new opportunities, so why would we, as incarnate individuals, fear dying?  It will happen, as will rebirth, until we attain the ability to sustain ourselves as energetic beings independent of guidance.

@ Vicky: "What do you mean by sub-site?  Do you have the link to the site."

C&P is defunct, so google up 'Afterlife Conversation by Harry'. The previous and next story's tab have some interesting stuff.

This material world is your true "home", so is the afterlife when you get there, and so on and so on. Don't believe me. Head for the roof level of a tall building........99.9% don't. They're just full of excuses!

I don't agree...to me our true existence is energetic, not encased in a body.  I believe while incarnate we reside in an illusion, however it is one I am not prepared yet to leave...nor do I see much point in "testing" it with a violent end to the illusion...I prefer to exit at my appointed time.   No excuses, simply have more to do while I am here...I don't understand the contentiousness you exhibit.

We are just as much here at the moment as we are there.  There is a part of our conscious awareness focused here while living this physical lifetime, as well as also focus of other parts of our awareness other places at the same time.  This physical lifetime isn't all that we are doing at this moment.  We are always conscious beings at any given moment, no matter where we are or what we're doing.  That's what's important to realize.  If you become aware of your consciousness while physically awake and living, or while sleeping and dreaming, or while in an OBE, or after you die...the point is that you realize the power of your own consciousness through the ability to feel and to express emotions.  As we all know and talk about often, love and positivity bring us the greatest ability to recognize that to move us to use our consciousness.
