Some music inspired by my journey
Feb 28th, 2012 at 9:44am

Hi All,

In the last few months, I've gotten back into music-making after a very long hiatus. The first track of my EP, "Love Can Come From Anywhere" people on this board and others with similar understanding might appreciate. I think the general public may not be ready for the message, although I'm hoping they will connect to the catchy tunes.

Cool fact: The chorus of this song came to me (both melody and lyrics) in an F27 experience several years ago. It sounded like angels were singing it. The message is even beyond my complete understanding, but I wrote verse lyrics to try explain it.

Let me know what you think...

I concur with Kathy, Mike, i like both the lyrics/messages and music a lot.  It's always awesome to hear this kind of "conscious" music and messages.  Keep up the good work.

Are you aware that your 2nd song, "Sing to me", starts off sounding a lot like a Neil Young song?  Tempo, chords, and even when the percussion comes in is very similar.  You might want to change that a little so there is no possible legal repercussions.  Granted, the rest doesn't sound similar, so maybe it is different enough to not come under the radar.

Justin and Kathy: Thanks for the compliments.

Justin: You are the 2nd person to point out the similarity of the intro to the song Heart of Gold and I appreciate that you did. I really hadn't noticed. Chord progressions are generally not copyrightable. But I will listen carefully anyway. At this stage I can easily modify a track and no one would notice Smiley

I made a fractal video of the song. I'm still hoping for the brainwave reader for spiritual experiences.

planetaziemia: you got me there. I owe the universe royalties.

BTW, a few days ago, I heard the song in a dream before I woke up, except I wasn't singing it (and neither were angels) It was a male voice and he slowed down the chorus a bit to add some flair. I interpret this to mean that I will be selling the song. I'll give it a try. I think that it would be pretty cool to share the "love" so to speak.
