Elements, elementals, spirits of nature

Hello,

A week or so ago there were a couple of posts regarding the majesty of the ocean and of experience with communicating with nature or parts of nature.  What about continuing that?

I'm not clear if it is still considered 'heart intelligence' if it involves information from beyond our own senses. Calling it heart intelligence seems to locate it so specifically as part of our own system. What if the experience involves information from some distance away?

One example comes from a leisurely afternoon at the ocean when I realized that my musing and daydreaming wasn't so self-directed --some other voice was involved. It was male, calm, considerate-sounding, assured. (Like I like to think of many of you posters Smiley
It answered a few mild questions I put out, then asked 'do you like jewels?' Immediately I suspected a trap, like the serpent with an apple, and stammered, 'don't all girls?'  It said calmly 'No.'

Then it suggested I take a walk up the beach. The day was peaceful and open so I thought no harm in that and set off.  It kept me going much farther than I would have strolled on my own. Finally it pointed out some seaweed brought in by recent waves. 'You may like what you see in there,' it said.

Caught within the swirled strands of leaves were beautiful semi-clear drops of yellow-green, like the jewel citrine. But they were gooey to the touch which repelled me! 'They will become ...(pause)...as you say solid.'

Why did it hesitate at 'solid?' That made me wonder about the source of these thoughts. Why would such a simple word cause anyone to hesitate? (I had considered that the voice was part of some mind control from the nearby military.)

Now that I've read those mentioned posts on communications with parts of nature I wonder if that's what I was involved in?

(If so I am ashamed and apologize to the ocean spirit for turning down its gift.)

Bets

Hi Bets,

maybe the voice didn't come from an outside entity, but from some expanded awareness of yourself. Could be your free thinking allowed it to get knowledge of details of your surrounding which is impossible when focused on the things which lie inside the corridor of our normal, planned existence; you allowed more free associations than usual, and the voice came from yourself; the hesitating might be just a translation problem, as within a wider focus range, much might be experienced as solid which in the narrower focus might appear as hazy, so that part of you had to somehow translate from the wider to the narrower perspective, therefore the hesitating.

Hi Betson,

Wow. What an interesting experience. I am hardly an expert on these matters, but I would like to venture a guess here.

I have noticed there is a "gap" (for lack of a better word) between what we understand and what is conveyed from the other side. Have you noticed that many transcripts of seances, automatic writing, ndes, etc. almost always have some kind of "pause" where the *speaker* doesn't know our Earthly word for something or the *listener* doesn't understand what is being expressed? The reason I wonder if this is the case is because "solid" isn't really a term I associate with the other side. I think of transparent, glowing, clear, "ghostly," otherly, etc., but never "solid." It may simply be a word that is uncommon there since everything can be seen and understood. Do you see what I mean?

Kind regards,
mj

Wait a minute.  Do you mean that you physically walked down the beach and found the colored things in the seaweed?  What do you think they were, like eggs or something?

Maybe if instead of being repelled by the experience you had projected your consciousness and meditated for more information, you would have more understanding of what the purpose was.
