Surprise Visit to the Reentry Station
Dec 15th, 2011 at 1:31pm

I was leaning back in the recliner, idly watching television, when I felt my eyes close.  It had been a hectic morning, so I decided that a little meditation would be nice.  I started noticing my breaths, letting my mind empty, just enjoy the silence... Moving through space, approaching a big gray opening... hey!  What is this?  There's a big structure in front of me, looks like I'm in front of some kind of bay or hangar, hmm there's the Earth down there... Like a big space station?  Oh, I think I know!

I swoop in and land inside the bay.  There's a "man" in front of me, wearing an orange hat and an orange vest that say "ED"-- entry director.  "Hey, do you work here?  Is this the Reentry Station?"

The man gave me a look of puzzlement.  "Reentry?  Oh, wait, Monroe-speak.  Yep, this is the place."

"Do you have time to answer some questions?"

"Sure.  What do you have in mind?"

"I was wondering, what's my purpose in life?"

The E.D. gave me a funny look.  "Well, you already know, but you are a Scout."

"Scout?"

"Yes.  As for this particular life, you have a pre-arranged agreement with a few other curls, in order to have certain experiences."

"I see..."

"You are ready, your guide is just preventing you from rushing into things."

I blinked in confusion.  "What?  What on earth are you talking about?"

"That was your next question, wasn't it?  Why can't you have a full-blown OOBE?"

"Um... yeah, that was my next question.  How did you know?"

"Because that's how most people communicate around here.  The whole 'talk' thing is really slow.  Maybe you should try non-verbal communication like the rest of us."

"Maybe later.  So, I am ready to have an OBE?"

"Well, yeah, you've always been ready, really.  Your guide just said that you weren't because you were getting into it for all the wrong reasons."

The E.D. gives me a big thought-ball with more information-- something to unravel later.  "Well, I think I should go," I said.

"Sure thing.  There's a tour group coming here in a little bit anyway, you don't want to get stuck in the crowd.  Come back and visit sometime."

And with that, I opened my eyes.

Ironically the tour group was from TMI, or so I was told...  Shocked
