For months we've had a lot of "just out of vision movements" which then stopped for some time until recently. There is something there as not just me but my girlfriend and our animals have seen it too, I can't talk to animals by the way lol, I have seen them watching what I have seen.

One night my girlfriend saw one but it was more in her full vision and it came out of our bathroom and went into our passed on sons bedroom. The next morning I was having a lie in and I nodded off briefly, I then had a weird vision of me walking up the stairs where I saw something come out of the bathroom and it was my son.

He looked older and was walking, he looked how I would imagine he would now if he was still here (now I have seen this), he wasn't quite walking while he was here. The thing is he acknowledged that I was there but was minding his own business so he didn't really interact with me like I have had in other dream visitations (if that's what this was) or look at me properly.

It shocked me and I woke up, these things come out of nowhere.

Was it just a dream or something more?

You know that negativity does not bond you with your son. Loving kindness is the strongest bond, as your previous posts show.

Since there was no personal interaction with this figure, it suggests that this figure was an aspect and not the son you knew. I'm not able to describe how these aspects split from a full person but it's often been written about here. 

It's probably time (in Earth time) for him to move back completely into the afterlife. You can retrieve his aspect yourself by encouraging him to go to the afterlife to be with other loved ones. You can interact with the non-physical in this way. When he leaves you will not be jeopardizing your relationship with your deceased son.
