How many souls does it take...
Sep 9th, 2011 at 11:07am

I have a question: Taking into account the Buddhist belief in instant reincarnation, and also the concept of selective re-entry into the physical realm morre commonly cited here, how do we account for the ever-increasing population of physical inhabitants in this reality?  Certainly not because it is so much fun to be here.

I think it is fun to be here for some and not so much for others. There is a lot to be learned here as I'm sure there is much to learn from a less physical environment as well. We are certainly here to gain experience and to learn to gravitate toward better understanding. I don't think its higher or lower understanding per se, just collecting data to make decisions that ultimately lower the entropy of each individuated consciousness and thereby lowering the entropy of the whole. I am using the word entropy in terms of spiritual growth here and not the accustomed
meaning used in regular physics.

Hi Bardo,

The mathematics of this don't always make sense.  There are several of us on the board who do not believe that reincarnation is a given, as it seems quite plausible to spend a good deal of time in the afterlife if one chooses to do so.  So the idea that there are 4 billion people in the world now and there were only 1 billion a certain number of years ago does not imply that souls can or can not reincarnate.

We also don't know the ability of people from other planetary systems, dimensions, etc. to enter into our earth-life plane.  Thus, numbers may not be perfectly accurate in those who do reincarnate.

It seems like half of the experience happens when being immersed in the system, and the other half when demersing from it. There's still fun people to meet, fun things to do and humour to enjoy, but the cracks in this system is getting mighty big, for me.

Why there is an increasing populace I've filed under ELS/Disneyland after dark information. Worth noticing that welfare systems enable incarnations who've otherwise couldn't afford to breed to breed. Worth noticing how people generally respond when you say you don't want to have children. What's going on, as one dude asked, and is a question that probes beneath the surface. This is one topic I've found is best to explore on one's own if it's on one's incarnational path to disc..over.  Lips Sealed

Instant reincarnation is not a give in, by any means.

There are a number of ways to address this question.  One, it's limiting to assume that in the far past there haven't been similar population numbers.  Just because the mainstream doesn't teach same, doesn't mean it's not true.

Also, Disks have the ability to have more than one lifetime going on in a particular time/space cycle.  I know this from experience, having learned that i and another self, named John, were living simultaneously in this cycle until he died from a car crash around his early 20's.  It seems more are doing this now in this cycle, because it's a cycle of a lot of potential due to it's unusual and extreme nature, and the collective experiences coming.

For various reasons, it seems that during cycles of great change and potential for a lot of collective development, more consciousnesses incarnate, and these cycles tend to match up to when there is a lot of population growth having gone on.

Besides multiple splitting possibilities, there's also to consider that there are many, many, many, many systems in this particular combo of physical/nonphysical Universe/Multi-verse.  Hence, there is plenty of inflow and outflow from other systems to take into account.

Just like with Consciousnesses who are habitually incarnating in the Earth, it seems more Consciousnesses from other systems tend to come into the Earth when there is a cycle of great change and transformation going on.  Also various reasons for that.

There are many factors and variables to take into account, and not all beliefs are completely accurate.
