On the 18th August 2011 I died numerous times on the resuscitation table due to third stage heart block. I went through the whole drama of my heart stopping, flat lining over and over again, adrenaline, atropine were injected directly into my heart and the shock paddles and chest depressions, used over and over again in a desperate effort to get my heart to beat again on its own.



If I had any doubts about life after death I have none now, each time my heart stopped my soul or consciousness left my body and went into other dimensions of existence. At first I only remembered a little of what went on in those three hours of life and death struggle but lately have begun to remember more and more about the strange otherworldly realms I saw over the period of three hours. Each time they got my heart to beat I came back.

I saw numerous people all gathered to welcome me into the afterlife, all my beloved were there. It seemed like a welcome home party but as soon as the doctors got my heart to beat I was drawn back to the earthly world. Another time I saw a tree with a lot of books situated around it. Reading what was on the covers I saw that they contained all the knowledge and mysteries of existence. One very large book seem to consolidate what was in all the smaller books but when I tried to lift it was too heavy to carry and I decided to return later for it

II saw a beautiful pulsating orb of golden light that I took for the Lord Jesus as it emanated perfect peace and love. I had no tunnel and meting of a being of light I think because I was continually being resuscitated by the medical team

After three hours the doctors installed a temporary pacemaker to maintain the pulse at 80 beats per/minute instead of the 5 to zero beats it had been beating most of the time on the resuscitation table. I was told by the doctor that I had been “really really dead”

I now have a permanent pacemaker in my chest which should last ten years and despite the great shock I am felling very alive and well

What was it like coming back to your body over and over, Alan? It sounds like it all happened so fast. Do you think you might remember any more details or do you feel that you have remembered everything? Did the afterlife realm feel really really alive, while the doc thought you were really really dead? How do you feel about resuscitation now, after all that has happened?

I especially like you last post above. It carries a true and helpful message.

I wish to add a thought to it, about the sorts of Gods that different people call out to.

There are many loveless people on this Earth whose idea of God is of an evil God; and while calling his name and chanting how great he is, they commit bloody murders. But their evil God is of their own making - a conjuration of their own murderous hearts and minds.

My point is that a person calling on their God, can but may not, banish evil, depending on the person and the character/nature of their God. One's God is limited by one's standard of God.

Evil men call on evil Gods, who fulfill their evil hearts. Although they believe their God is good, it is only because their comprehension and standard of goodness is only that high.   

As one's ideals grow and become more loving towards one's fellow man, one's God grows accordingly. But comprehension of love is required, and an example is needed to implant the idea of love in a mind where the idea has not been comprehended before. When one comprehends love, then one is able to call on the true God which is love and light. No man's God is higher than the love and goodness that he can comprehend.

Everyone who knows the Jesus story, knows that Jesus did not preach murder and war, but only preached love and forgiveness to all, even to enemies. And he lived the love and forgiveness he taught.    

The concept of Jesus as the son/product/representative of God guarantees a person's God is a loving God. Jesus keeps the standard of a person's God. And makes their God the true God.

I seem to have changed since my heart block NDE and am dreaming vivid real dreams where some deep wisdom is being shown to me nearly every night when I sleep. A lot of it I do not yet understand, but it seems to have something to do with the "books of knowledge" I saw around a tree during a time when I was flatlining on the table

The only bridge is memory. Read them and write it down when you get back.
Is anyone aware of or heard of the librarys on the astral planes?

Just a wild guess. Perhaps the cavern scenes were some kind of ancestral memories....the negative appearance of the unpleasant entities. But you have faith, and your prayer was answered. That speaks for itself. I really appreciate your descriptions and am very glad that you were able to come back to let us know what you saw. I had to watch my grandfather pass of complications after a heart attack. He could not speak when he returned. He had tubes down his throat, and never was able to tell us anything. I am so happy for you that, despite all you have been through, you were able to come back here, and that you thought of us, and that you have no more fear. And, for you to know that the goodness of the afterlife is there for you as soon as you call for it. How precious is that knowledge!
