Hello Vicky:

I used to see white points of light as verifications. I hardly ever see them now because they are no longer necessary.

One purpose they served is letting me know that some dreams are created by my higher self (guidance). On some occasions, after waking up from a dream I would start writing notes, and a point of bright white light would flash on my right hand in order to say, "right, you're interpreting that dream symbol correctly(at such a moment I'd be thinking about what a symbol means). Sometimes such a point would appear on a particular word I wrote in order to place emphasis on it.  On some occasions I would receive additional symbolic visual imagery while awake, in order to add to what was communicated during the dream.

Now that I'm certain that many of my dreams are created by my higher self, I no longer need the points of light as a means of verification. Sometimes I am sent additional symbolic visual imagery, perhaps in the form of a short waking dream.

I need to add that those points of light looked and felt as if they came from a realm other than this physical world even though I was using my physical eyes at the time.

Here's another example about how they manifested. One time I was talking to a lady at work and something very emotional came up for her. It caused me to experience a bubble of energy around my body. It is possible that a spirit detached from her at this time and attached to me.  I looked at my heart chakra area and saw a point of bright white light flash.  Intuitively I received the message don't worry, just tune within and deal with whatever it was that attached to me.

There have been other occasions when I've seen such a point flash in front of my heart area during moments of distress. They have had a soothing affect.

  Once in a great while i sometimes see white point flashes of light. 

  I experienced this most recently when i was writing something here about E.T.'s (specifically the "Greys") not too long ago.

   It's on reply #24 and towards the end of my post.   My intuition had already been telling me something, but i was doubting it somewhat, and so i believe i experienced this white point flash of light as a verification that my intuition about this issue was true.
