Some advice I can give you is that you're making it way more difficult than it is.

First, have an intention.  Second, learn to simply pay attention to your breathing.  Breathe naturally and comfortably, but just pay attention to it as you mentally and physically relax.  You can be sitting or lying, doesn't matter.  Once you begin feeling a shift in relaxation (which begins to happen naturally the moment we close our eyes), then remind yourself of your intention, and then let it go.  Third, pay attention to what comes next in your awareness.  It will be a direct response to your intention.

Next, allow yourself to just feel, rather than to be thinking, judging, and analyzing.  When I read your posts, this is where I can see you make things too complicated.  I also see that you seem to have expectations of what an OBE should be like.  You may be basing too much expectation on the experiences of your mentors.  Instead of having expectations, just go along with whatever experience YOU have, just allow yourself to FEEL and BE without judgement.

Hi Vicky: I am posting this because I think you should know this advice is directly responsible for something that happened in session which is too personal and too powerful to post.

Hi Vicky: Without going into what happened I can report that my brain is transforming... this is my second or third session since the above... I am transforming into to an entirely different entity... more powerful and balanced... I had a solid vision of an office with a light brown  leather upholdstered desk chair... it was as solid as any physical world office that I might walk into in my physical body... as visualizations began to occur they were very real world but fleeting but the process of transformtion is underway... my tendency is to overdo it rather than stay the course with my present regiem I am tempted to do three meditations a day instead of just one and occasionally two... depending on my time constains...

Tito-  Sounds to me that you might be transforming into what Bruce calls a "Big Fish."

Hi Vicky: This is a warning to others... this is why I couldn't post the other event... the above is what happens when you 'cast pearls before swine'... instead of introducing a hopeful piece of information of how effort is rewarded one is hammered with sarcasm and veiled ridicule...

Yeah, I wasn't quite sure what Rondele's post meant...had me scratching my head.  I'm too much of a positive person to give notice to sarcasm often.  Just skip over negative comments and keep up with your success.  The inner peace of triumphs on your own personal journey is more important than winning everyone over.  You just can't please everyone, so don't worry about it.

Can't win everybody over is solid advice. Short version; brain is changing, transforming into a different entity, leather chair. Pearls? Keep up with the success just gets glossing over-y & weird with that in mind, and just that of course, not a whole project. Hammered with sarcasm is a poor-me line, seraphis1.

Oh, and.. Oink!

Looks like I stirred up a bit of a tempest in a teapot.  Sorry about that.

Tito, if you'll take the time to read about Big Fish in Bruce's book (pg 47, Charting Unknown Territory), you'll see that the description of Big Fish is very similar to what you wrote about.

Especially this sentence: "Many Big Fish have lives in physical world reality in which they share their multidimensional awareness with others who are lacking it."

I admit, the way I worded my post, it came across as sarcastic and for that I apologize.

I've followed Bruce for many years, read all of his books, attended his workshop, and respect his work.

Vicky will remember that I spent a good deal of time and effort helping her to edit her book prior to publication.

That said, I don't think it was appropriate for you to characterize me, or any other AK member, as "swine."

Seraphis,

I guess you jumped the gun on taking Rondele's reply as offensive.  I myself had no idea what the Tito reference meant, so now I'm assuming it's your name??  And as far as Big Fish, I had to go look it up in Bruce's book....had completely forgotten that reference.  Since you took offense, I assumed  Rondele's references meant something personally offensive to you.  My advice still stands...keep positive on your journey and you'll get where you're going.

So Rondele,

OMG!!  I had no idea you were one of my volunteers for proofing my book since you never identified yourself as Rondele when we corresponded.  If you are who I think you are, you were my best proofer.  You gave me outstanding editing advice, not to mention some nice compliments!  Honestly, my book greatly needed the help you provided and I learned a lot from you.

Thanks for making me aware it was you, and it's nice to be able to say thanks again.
