cloning is not god's wishes humans make babies
Jun 15th, 2010 at 5:10pm

hi i already have a clone,my twin sister but i think cloning could probably get out of hand one day,as like everything else,it could end up being comercialised with ads saying for instance

"hey don't mourn over a lost loved one,we will just make you a clone,so you can still be with that person you  loved that's died, just give us a couple of months and behold your loved one is ringin the bell to come in,be sure to let us know soon as death occurs
so we can do the nesseseries to clone you a new model, problem is they wont have the memories of you,so we have come up with a fantastic idea, brain transplant from the deceased or permanent hypnotisim,be sure to order,it will cost you only £300 per month, for the next 3 yrs but hey aint it worth it to never have to say goodbye.

i know im probably exagerating here but in this ever making money world, who knows, could this ad be there in the next 30 to 40 yrs.

god made man to have sex with woman to get babies, that's gods plan so cloning does not even figure in god's plan

I loved what you said about the advertisement, Juditha, so funny, really.

What I wonder, though, is, what about two women who find that they have fallen in love, and they want to spend their lives together, through no 'fault' of their own, just the way they are, just the way they feel, is it fair that they don't get to have the experience of pregnancy and birthing just because they were born this way (possibly), or they chose a different life from other women? What about men, who also have feelings for each other, and want to live in a family unit?

Is it fair that only certain 'kinds' of people have that experience?

Although I, personally, would like to see more children who are already born be cared for in a more loving way, it is hard for me to see a loving God who would want to deny people a special life with those they love. But, I know people feel differently about these situations.

And, the commercialisation of so many things in life has caused us to be hypnotised in lots of ways, so I think that is a very important point that you brought out in this post. Especially because it illustrates the fact that, if you have a lot of money, you can be reeled in for all kinds of fantasy lives; whereas, if you are so worried about putting food on the table that you don't know where your next loaf of bread is coming from, well, not really worth thinking about, is it?

hi goobygirl i just think that if god wanted it this way,why did he make man and woman,to make babies,i would not like to think that i was cloned in a science lab,its like products coming along a conveyer belt

its a wonderful thing waiting for your child to be born,i remember how i felt when i held my darling babies for the first time,i instantly felt that love, but i felt that love when they were growing inside of me.

its better than visiting a cold calculating lab and looking at this child growing and this child not feeling the warmth and love of its mothers womb.

ivf is a beautiful thing because two woman in love two men in love can have a child through a surrogate mother and a woman through ivf does carry that child naturally inside her womb,so these two things i would say were wonderful because a mother i can say i know how much i wanted children to love and cherish and i got three beautiful children that make my life even more special.

i feel that god is well pleased to see this happening as these children are grown inside the womb, and at the time of birth, this is when the spirit enters the babies physical body.

birth is coming through the dark tunnel and into the light of the physical world.

death is going through the dark tunnel and into the light of the spiritworld

cloning takes away all how life should begin and end and its not fair for a child to grow up and be told he was grown in a greenhouse.

i just feel that god will not approve of this,i'm not saying i know it all about god but i somehow know he would not want this.

God gave us our powerful, ever-evolving and ever inquisitive minds for a reason.

We have transcended the "original plan" in many ways - in a sense, every cure for a disease is "unnatural" - and I firmly believe we are supposed to.

It is one of the great beauties - and great dangers - to humanity that we think and search and evolve ourselves.

We have reached an unique point in history where we may be able - even within our lifetime - to change the very makeup of humanity. And if it is done with love, care and the betterment of humanity in mind, it will be good and wonderful. If it is done with greed and aggression, it will be terrible.

This is an important point in history and I hope I live a loooong time to see how it will go.

Cloning babies, repairing genetic diseases, maybe repairing aging itself, neuronal implants, generic organs, printed bones....these pose great possibilities. We just MAY end up with a happy, peaceful humanity which is not wrecked by diseases anymore and not frightened by a short lifetime.

It all depends, deep down, if science is done with love or not Smiley. Just opposing will drive it into a wrong direction. I believe it is much better to accept that the great force that drives this universe has made us self-aware and sentinent and able to do this for a reason.

I guess, Juditha, that there are a lot of things to think about when we start imagining the possibilities. What you said helps me to understand what you value, what you love about your own life experience, and how you see it. I know that I, personally, did not come through a tunnel, but I am certain I felt my mother's love, despite the 'inadequate' (according to society) preparation for my arrival. Because, not only was I not planned in any way by my prospective family, I was a breech baby who was trying to come down feet first, and was removed from my mother by 'unnatural' means which saved our lives. So, I'm sure my 'tunnel' experience was not a happy one in any way. I suppose I wouldn't want to miss that time my mother was carrying me, so that is something I can appreciate. But, honestly, I don't think I'd resent it if I was raised in a 'greenhouse' first, as long as it was with love, and with enough personal understanding of myself that I could find joy and purpose in my life. But, then, I really don't know. Until we try new things, it's hard to say what benefits and problems can result. It is certainly true that we all come into the world in very different ways and in very different social circumstances. Quite a lot of food for thought there, especially considering the fact that babies absorb thoughts and feelings from the mother, hear and react to their environment (sounds, vibrations) of the outside world, etc. If a person grows in an environment which is 'different', I don't think we really have enough knowledge, at this point, to 'know' how we are affecting the unborn. We don't even, generally, provide them with a 'pristine, clean' environment at this point, with how the earth is being saturated with the products of our technologies in the form of chemicals, etc. It's enough to give me a headache just thinking about it. These are complex issues.

hi something else has just crossed my mind, say for instance they have discovered mammouth elephant that had been frozen for years, now evolution is going on all the time,if they decided to do a clone of the mammouth elephant, well evolution is sent back to none evolution as its interfering with the propar way of  evolution, darwin or eistien wasted there time dicovering evolution,i dont know who discovered it was either einstine or darwin.

now even worse a clone of the t rex, jarrasic park becomes a reality, this again will change the laws of eveolution, say its cloned under top secret conditions and it gets out on the run,you could be shopping, have a nature walk, watching tv,on your way to work and you meet up with this t rex whos got plenty of food supplie on this planet, your gone, hes had his dinner and sitting at home could be your husband wife or children, mums been a long time up the shop or dad, unknowing to them that they are grinding up in the t rex's large gut.

cloning needs to be handled poropaly so it dont get in the hands of a mad scientist,as there are mad people out there and scienetists could easily be one of them.

That's good to hear, Juditha. As long as there is a door, I'll go through it, especially if there is someone I trust to take me along. Smiley

Juditha, you are certainly entitled to your opinions. But I personally believe that God, creator/infinite force/whatever you want to call it/him/her, is not a judgmental being, if GOD is even a being at all.  We have to decide for ourselves what is right....we are here to learn, and to experience, not to live in fear of some supreme being looking down on us, literally and figuratively.

My point is, you cannot know God's mind, no one can. If you happened to join in that consciousness, all you would feel is love, you wouldn't even have the breath or energy to come back with any type of proclamations of right or wrong.

I'm no expert, but I am a former biology major and studied evolution for one semester, which is nothing at all in light of how much information evolution is actually about. However, I can say definitively your view of evolution is a bit off and confusing to me, sorry.

Maybe you can try explaining your mammoth theory again...

hi goobygirl   god has talked to me many times as the other day i was crying to him and saying that life wasnt what i wanted anymore, telling him i love my children and that i was being selfish to want to die but i can't help it.

god spoke to me he said two words "beautiful sunshine" and then my dad who has died said to me"do as god has asked,go to your computer and put in the words from god "beautiful sunshine"

so i did this and when i put on google search "beautiful sunshine" the most beautiful picture came on,it had a beautiful rainbow on it and the sun with the most brilliant light shining over it,all my sadness stared to leave me as god had put my soul at peace.

then god said "i want you to look at this picture every time your heart is sad" as it is now my background picture on my computer as before god told me to do this my background picture was of an angel weeping with sadness,so i know that god is helping me to know that he is with me and loving me wherever i go.

i love god with all my heart and soul

love and god bless  love juditha
