Black sticky tar
May 26th, 2010 at 2:04am

Can anyone point me to which chapter or chapters in which of Bruce's books tell about his encounters with the black, sticky tar around some people that you have to "see not there" rather than manually removing?   I think it came up in two different places.   I ask because my friend who is not familiar with Bruce's work recently described a very similar experience in his work with patients who have "spirit" issues, i.e. seeing this stuff around someone, trying to manually remove it and getting all caught up in it himself.  I'd like to share Bruce's description of those experiences with him.  Thanks.

Hi Pat,

I found one in the Afterlife Knowledge Guidebook Chapter 18, on page 177.  I'm not sure where there is another one.  I'll keep searching.

Pat-

The reference you are looking for can be found in Voyages into the Unknown, and starts on page 188 under the heading Black Stuff.

There is also a reference to the tar in Voyage Beyond Doubt, on page 160.

Vicky and Rondele, thank you very much for the help.

I was so struck by how similar my friend's description was to what I recalled about Bruce's description of this experience.  My friend is also my chiropractor who has perceived entities following me around after I went to Gateway Voyage and kept doing the TMI CD exercises.  He has helped transition a couple of them who were needy and looking for mothering and whom he thought were energy drains.  I don't perceived these hangers-on, but apparently I've become a gathering spot for them.  The black sticky tar was not my issue, however, but someone else's.

Hi Pat,

How did your friend deal with the black stuff to remove it?  It's interesting he could see these entities around you draining you, yet you didn't feel it.  I guess you're a tough cookie!  Did your friend go to TMI too?

Vicky, he didn't tell me all the details, except that after that encounter he consulted with an energy worker he had worked with before.  She told him she didn't know if she could work with him because he seemed to be getting into satanism.  He explained that he had encountered the black stuff while treating a patient and she calmed down.  I didn't ask for more details because I was so excited by the parallels with what I had read in Bruce's books.

My friend has not gone to TMI or read Monroe or Moen.  However he has been a Buddhist practitioner for some years and evidently has considerable natural ability in this area.  He seems to be way beyond me and here I'm trying so hard!!
