The true you your soul
Mar 16th, 2010 at 6:02am

Hi  an article I wrote some time ago , please try to read it through and comment,I am not always correct

What is the soul, where is the soul?

The brain is not the soul of mind, it is the hard drive, the processor of your mortal body. The mind downloads constantly onto the brain right up to death and a little beyond and that is why some of us remember events from a near death experience

The  “the Soul” personalized is an infinitesimal part of God in man. Just as a drop of water from the ocean has all the ingredients in the ocean, this “the Soul” has all the powers of God.

However, just as a drop of water from the ocean does not make up the ocean, the “the Soul” of one person does not make up God’s “the Soul”. All the drops joined together become the ocean; all the “the Soul’s in the universe together make up God’s Cosmic Soul”.

The Soul” is the source of all happiness, all misery, health, and disease, abundance and lack, riches and poverty, joy and sorrow. As the greatest

Our “Soul” is a microcosm and creates the macrocosm universe and more until it all consolidates into the godhead.

If you experience these things then you have an eternal soul, do you think a state of soullessness emptiness exists in you?

If you do you must and would die. By that I mean your physical body will die, because it is your soul or mind that sustains it as one harmonious organism

Like a laser beam, “the Soul” can focus its attention on the smallest atom or see the whole universe as if it is a speck. “The Soul” can become part of the environment and embrace the entire cosmos.

I know this is true, because when I died during my NDE I became god for a few wonderful inexplicable moments outside of linear time and space.

The speed of thought is more than the speed of light. In a millisecond, “the Soul” can reach the farthest galaxy, billions of light years away.

It is instantaneous and unlimited by space or time. For example, the precocious genius Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart said that he could hear a musical work as a single event and not successively.

What is thought what is consciousness??

What “the Soul” is and where it is situated has been debated for centuries. Rarely two philosophers agree on one definition or location for “the Soul”.

Rene Descartes, French philosopher, scientist, and mathematician said that there is a total and absolute distinction between mental and material substance and that “the Soul” he said situated in the pineal gland. I disagree the soul is a quantum energy field hovering around our body, especially the head area near the brain and many see it as an aura

“The Soul” is non material and cannot become part of a material such as the brain, pineal gland or amygdala.

We can go through every nerve cell, analyze electrochemically, spectroscopically, mass-photographically, electronically, and, using all known tests, we will not find any indication of “the Soul”.

There is no single location for the “the Soul”. The human “the Soul” is distributed throughout the human body and its environment.

Every cell has its own “the Soul” and has the ability to function independently or jointly with all the cells of the body.

For example, a neuron is capable of deciding whether it will transmit information to another nerve cell and, if it will, to which one among the thousands of cells with which it is in contact.

Similarly, endocrine cells decide whether they will respond to a demand for a particular enzyme by cells in another far corner of the body.

Even sponge cells exhibit a similar capacity of awareness. When a piece of sponge is ground up and individual cells are suspended in solution, they will come together and become a complete sponge within a few hours.

This indicates that each cell has a “Soul” of its own to decide to combine with another sponge cell and with which of the thousands of cells floating in solution.

Just as each of the thousand pieces of a splintered mirror will show the same reflection of an object as the whole mirror, each cell reflects our “the Soul” and each cell in the universe we humans etc, reflects the Universal Soul called by us as God

Blessing and light

Alan

I do somewhat hope that we do not become god in death. I do not desire that power. I wish the ability to travel all space and time, to be with friends and family, but I do not wish to know everything and have the power of god. I too have felt this power, and because it is not my nature I could not find comfort with it. I hope to keep my individual mind in death and not obtain the mind of more than myself. Of more than one soul or become that of a super conscious.

If death feels anything like I once did in my false state, then I very much do not look forward to dying. I do not like the idea of our souls never being able to rest or to slow down the intensity of thought and perception. I once felt like my mind had no limit to what it could obtain and feel and think. Many people think as I describe it that it sounds great and wonderful. I felt only scared and unnatural. Perhaps we learn to adjust to it...but it is a power I am really not ready for.

I really like your analogy to computers and hard drives. It gave me a thought of the future that reveals us to be the most advanced form of a computer. Intelligence made no longer artificial and purely able to conceive. Perhaps even humans will one day be able to unlock the mysteries of the universe through science and technology alone. That does seem to be the case. Perhaps the future has already occurred many times over and life is simply reliving it over and over again. I could almost go insane thinking about all of the concepts of life.

Stone,

The memories I have of being "in soul" is of instantaneous knowledge and knowing, complete, unconditional love and immediate arrival anywhere I thought of going.  I did not feel God-like, nor have any sense of obligation to exercise power other than my own.  I felt no excess intensity, overload or any kind of discomfort...on the contrary, I felt elated, joyous, amazed and amazing the entire time I was in soul.  While I was still myself, I was also so much greater than myself and it was all me...not just the limited human body I currently occupy.  I felt no sense of abandonment of ego, of subordination or obligation to any other entity...more a sense of unlimited freedom which included my current ego or consciousness, unbridled by any form of boundary.

In a nutshell, I didn't lose my individual mind, rather it was freed from the constrictions of the human awareness and was opened to the awareness of my soul which very easily and instantaneously took on the complete sense of everything, everybody and everywhere.  As if your human conscious self was the inside of a planetarium, when it opens to reveal the night sky, your soul in its entirety, together with all the answers you've ever sought are revealed with unconditional love and pure grace.  It was simply amazing.

I thought a little more on this today. I truly am such a thinker. I found myself thinking on this subject while a band I really enjoy was playing tonight. I was thinking about it as being a single event and an experience in my life that I wondered if I would remember in death. Then I thought about my last post in this thread. I seem to ignore the fact that my most powerful experience was under the use of a drug and while I think the drug revealed me to me things I would have ignored without it, I also think it inhibits the true power and creates the discomfort I was mentioning.

I'm not sure how ready I am to explore the truth of my existence but I have certainly begun that journey despite that I'm moving very carefully down the path. I suppose my greatest curiosity is the assurance that I will have nothing to fear in death and will indeed enjoy it. I have come to realize that if reincarnation is indeed a real thing, then I am most certainly an old soul. The things I know and feel and understand I somehow believe must have come from prior knowledge and experience which is only growing in this life. I see so many people with such ignorance to their existence and I wonder if they are simply new souls...or would I continue to be just as ignorant had I not had the experiences I did. The latter I do believe to be true. With 4+ billion lives on this earth and increasing, this is proof that new souls do appear and we aren't just recycled life after life.

My final thought on the subject was that if I find a discomfort in my ascension from this life then I will eventually adapt to it and accept it, control it, and come to terms with it. It's interesting because ever since I made that conclusion I have not felt the knots in my stomach and chills down my spine I have felt for weeks upon weeks. I feel more at peace as I type this than I have in awhile. Maybe this won't be so come tomorrow but right now I feel pretty good.

I'm also really glad that I am able to have personal conversations with people which involve them being open to the soul and the afterlife. It's great having an online community of knowledge but finding someone who actually shares your thoughts and understandings is incredibly difficult to happen upon.

I do not necessarily think it is always a sign of a new soul to be ignorant of anything beyond the third dimension...it might also be an old soul intent on ensuring his/her life plan is fully lived in this dimension for whatever purposes he/she may have.  With that said, I am sure you are right in that souls with less experience in this earthly dimension are more intent on staying in it during their incarnation...a sense of separation may actually be enjoyable to some.

I am being shown the "cracks in the curtain" and the "larger purpose in life" for reasons necessary to this incarnation, and I believe you are too.

There are just so many things I notice about myself that could be considered abnormal to what I have perceived as a majority of people and those things all seem very tied to who I am. I have always made pretty well thought out decisions which assist me and other people in making a right decision. I have always be very in tune with other people and enjoy helping them and more often than not have advice which I KNOW is good advice but rarely accepted. If my advice is ignored it usually leads to negative outcomes.

Another thing I really notice is my avoiding of many sins and just this overall seeking of enlightenment, knowledge, and good things. I'm not a Christian but I keep many of its teachings tied to my life. I have not found true love in this life or even been in a serious relationship. I am sometimes troubled by this but get over it quick at the realization that I make no true leaps to change it. I think maybe if I am an old soul that I was in love once and could possibly be searching for that bonding again. I have even kept a distance from relationships that were forming just so that I could observe that they were right. I'm not one to indulge in someone elses feelings just so that I can sustain my loneliness.

All of these things I feel serve some other purpose as they feel natural to who I am. I'm also a person who has no regrets and despite the unfortunate things which have occurred in my life I don't really wish them changed because of what I learned from them and the person they have made me. I truly believe life is only tests and teachings for our soul and each mistake or misfortune is only something to learn from and strengthen yourself.

Nothing I think about can really counter the idea of a soul.

Stone,

Your catalog of odd characteristics is not so odd in my world.  I would venture to say that alot of us on this board would have many of the same traits.  My only word of caution would be to ensure you do not get into the rut of pure mental analysis of all you find.  Feel the discoveries you make; sense their importance to you, individually.  Evaluate what comes before you by its level of warmth, of resonance, of its ability to enable positive or negative vibrations.

And with interpersonal relationships particularly, feeling is always more important than thinking or analysis.  No one you meet is there for a random reason...everyone placed in your presence, from the checkout clerk to the driver you just rear-ended in the car, is there to avail you of an opportunity.  The buddhists say "anyone whose sleeve you touched in passing has been with you for over a thousand lives."  Treat all with love and compassion and you will indeed be on your way.
