Ginny, so good to have you back!

I know my memory is not so great, and I'm reaching back several years, but didn't you theorize at one point that maybe retrievals do not really involve guiding "stuck" spirits to helpers, but instead are training tools designed to teach us more about the afterlife?

Roger and Ginny,

Ginny experienced her retrievals in the waking state.  Even before we get to the question of whether she actually retrieved trapped souls, her reported experiences are absolutely fascinating as illustrations of alternate states of consciousness.  In my view, no retrievals reported on this site make more compelling reading than Ginny's.  She is an honest seeker who rightly looks for verifications.  Though the evidence for her verification of contact with her grandfather was somewhat ambiguous, it still ranks as one of the most intriguing efforts at verification I've read on this site.  If Ginny still engages in such activiities, I hope she will allow us the privilege of sharing her astral adventures.  I also hope she shares any inferences, theories, questions, or misgivings that come to mind as she explores and hones her gift.  Roger, I'd be very interested to hear her answer to your question because I don't recall her proposing such a theory.

Mac...you wouldn't remember me but we met briefly in Faber in the lounge after the completion of a workshop at the MI. That was almost 20+ years ago.

1) At that 'time', you and some buddies were working on a project. 'Going forward' to find certain medical techniques from that 'time' to assist the 'present'. I always wanted to ask: did you encounter an issue/difficulty with parallel possible 'futures'...or 'sideways', whatever clumsy verbiage we are required to use these days on the subject. Maybe the same as 'chaff' thrown up when trying to view a target.

2) I see Canada next to your name. We just moved back down from rural northern Vancouver Island. No more Faber? Haven't kept up at all with VA or how that would impact your present life. How's the heart?

3) Enjoying reading Jon Ronson's book. I especially like the lock picking technique.

Hi Roger,

Thank you, Rog...and no and you bet.

I recall posting after around a year of retrieving what I called a 'win win' situation for retrievers as well as those stuck in the afterlife. I discovered over a period of time that, not unlike anyone who has devoted their time and heart to being of service to others, I had benefited so much from aiding Helpers for those in need...so much so that I began realizing that helping others 'get unstuck' was helping me to 'get unstuck'. The very act of helping others contributed significantly to several of my own fear-based beliefs just finally, FINALLY taking a permanent hike.
