I'd like to think that death is that easy, too. And perhaps it is, but I haven't yet had confirmation that obvious, yet. But, I believe it may be something like what you describe. I certainly am not afraid of death, anymore, except on a primal level, like how I fear cutting myself with something sharp. Change is always scary, but it's just like learning how to swim. I don't think dying is any different. I'm glad you are happy.

Well, that depends on the circumstances of each, especially of dying.  If one is prepared for dying, certainly it doesn't need to be traumatic.  But if one is not, or it's unexpected, violent, etc. then not so much.  But what would any of us know unless we've accessed memories from previous deaths.
