Orb Soul Theory
Aug 22nd, 2009 at 11:18am

I had a revelation yesterday in my meditation. I was thinking about who we really are besides the human body and what started various religious beliefs. Carlos Casteneda says that we are egg shaped glowing spheres. Robert Monroe saw us as a curl. Bruce sees us as a disc. Regardless of the shape, we are a mass of living energy.

Here's my theory that may link Christian belief with modern understanding:

What lives beyond the human body is the person’s soul.
The soul is a sphere of energy.
When the soul’s energy grows, it makes the soul glow brighter.
If a soul glowed bright enough, it would look like a star.
If a person glowed liked the sun, they could be worshipped as a Sun God.
Jesus was a son (sun) of God.

   Just a concept to ponder.

Sincerely,
Ralph

That's very fascinating. I do believe our true forms are just little orbs floating together. It explains why  you capture so many 'orbs' in pictures of haunted places. Of course, you can capture human forms, as well. I guess it depends how strongly each person still feels 'human' after dying, and in the non-physical.  Smiley

Actually,

we are a fragment of the total sphere, a fragment of this being. Its energy is massive and its creative ability is beyond our comprehension.

We are a speck of light, now with that knowledge, if we a speck of light can sustain this body,. to clarify if us this little speck leaves ,disconnects from the body the body will die!

Then can you imagine the power of the total being.

It's much more complex than that. The way you put it, is similar to a leaf on a tree. When the leaf disconnects from the tree, it will die.

If you consider God as the only source of energy in the world, then we would all have to maintain a connection with God in order to survive. God generates energy. I believe that God gave us all the ability to generate energy as well. We don't have to separate from God in order to use our personal energy. If our personal energy runs out and we are still connected to God, then God can re-energize us.

Sincerely,
Ralph

Actually, its not more complicated, its our ego that breathes these complicated thoughts into life.

Why does it seem displeasing to think in terms of being a speck of light? our true energy is one of beauty.

Its ego that complicates things.

Hello everyone, in my one OBE many years ago (that I consciously remember) when I was a teenager, I recall distinctly that I was a glowing, bright orb, I could see all around myself simultaneously.

Kind regards, Elanor

Hi Elanor,

You are conscious of a state ('the orb state'  Smiley  ) that no one else has mentionned knowing in the last three years here, at least!
That's wonderful to know that someone living was an orb!

You recall seeing all around yourself, so it seems that awareness was important to the orb. Do you have any other memories of what was happening then, such as time, feelings, after-effects, etc?

Thank you for sharing this!

Bets

Ralph, thank you for posting a thread about your 'cosmology.'  I have wondered about a similiar evolution for the soul and have found nothing that disputes it, --although it certainly must take alot of time in human terms!

Greetings Betson.

I have had several meditations that I saw myself as an orb in. When this happened, I remember being able to see in all directions. Sometimes I felt like I was outside of the space/time continuum.

In Robert Monroe's book "Far Journeys", chapter 8 "Contact Point" (page 92), He says:
Quote:
With the mutual recognition of such communication, the depth of my OOB patterns shifted. I was escorted frequently to what might be loosely described as another kind of class, in that there was an instructor and there were students, including me. It was entirely different from the sleeper's classes that I remember. Here, freely translated, there was a brilliant white, radiating ball of light that was the teacher.

It would be amazing if it's true that cameras can detect disembodied beings. If Bruce or someone can make a breakthrough in audio communication with the other side, and cameras can photograph them, then it would be a revolutionary change in life on this world, as the fear of death could conceivably be eliminated.

Sincerely,
Ralph

Hi, just to add my tuppence worth - I've also been in an "orb state", as a misty ball of mauve energy/light - I zoomed out into space, saw the most amazingly beautiful star-scape . . . the earth far "below" was an unbelievably beautiful, almost glowing blue,  & definitely alive. . .I wondered what I would do if I needed to use  hands, & instantly a little proto-hand appeared from my "side" -  it was the most glorious projection I've ever had.  I am also convinced that  some of the orbs in photos are spirits - I have captured some lovely ones, & have a photo of myself surrounded by glowing bubbles!

Actually, I seldom see myself at all when in projection, I seem to be more a ball of consciousness.

Namaste!

Hi!
Go to take a look at these pics!

A friend, who is a 'sensitive', looked at these images and stated the following:

"It's a man and woman, a married couple. They were together in life and now bound together in death. They have been spirits for quite some time. I feel hey were among some of the early settlers. Some force is holding them earthbound. This may sound crazy but I get the letters "H, A and M". Not necessarily in that order."

I remember forum member Alysia aka Laughing/Laffin Rain had as well a vivid experience being a pinpoint. Robert Bruce, too.

Hi Bets! Good to hear from you, sorry for this late reply, as I only saw your message just now.

During that OBE (the only one I which I stayed conscious beyond the vibrations), I recall leaving quite briskly through the top of my head (crown or eye chakra?). Most of the time I struggle with the vibrations, and am affected by 'paralysis'.

I thought to myself then, "Oh no, it's happnening again.", which was ironic, because that was my first conscious OBE. I was about 17.

As mentioned, my consciousness was mostly in the form of a (bright, I think) orb, in which I had peripheral vision.

I felt free, light, awake and aware as I had never been before - unencumbered by this physical body!!

I was racing involuntarily down a star-speckled tunnel, it was beautiful!  Smiley

However, I was of course anxious about leaving my body, so looked "behind", and my consciousness shifted instantly, to where I could see myself slumped over a desk (I was in school, sitting in for a lecture, and sleeping as it was a subject I didn't take).

I noticed a misty, grey veil between the dimension I had entered, and the physical one I left. I also noticed that a very small part of my consciousness still resided in my physical body. (A feeling similar to when one is sleeping, you still are somewhat aware of your body).

Please may I ask if you have any idea as to the name of the dimension I had entered? I know that our physical plane is referred commonly to here as C1, beyond that I get a little confused as I have limited conscious experience out of body.

Thank you!

Warm regards,
Elanor

Greetings Elanor,

The orb that travels with that speed is the 'fourth causal body' for those who chart them so.  It's capable of going way beyond Earth's influence and Earth's influence seems to end in the high 20's, using Monroe's focus levels.   Shocked  So you were probably in the 30's somewhere, although looking back may have kept you from going even higher !

I think Thomas /tgecks could tell you more clearly since he uses those names and travels there more than I do.

You can probably do it again by trying to re-establish the sense of how you felt at the time you did it before.  Smiley

Hi there Bets, thank you so much for a fascinating reply, that's plenty for me to get researching on!  Smiley

Yes, sorry, I forgot to mention that the instant I hesitated and wanted out, I was back in my body, paralysed for a while until I got control of my physical body back.

I also forgot to answer your question about the feeling of time there - I felt absolute stillness and calm in the infinite black space about me. So although I cannot prove this, I would not be surprised if time did not exist, where I was.
