Hi George,

I'm thinking it was not very direct. More round-about, like Jesus saying he is the Son of God and then later saying we are all brothers under God the father. To me this sort of infers that we can grow up to be gods, like our Father God --someday.  Smiley

George,

There is a place in Luke where Jesus is talking to people and tells them (to paraphrase it) All these things you see me do, you will do greater things.  Not as clear as the verses pointed out by tgecks, but it seems to imply that we are capable of playing on the same ball field as Jesus.

You know, in all the years I attended church I never heard a sermon based on that passage in Luke.
