Two possibilites come to mind, but I'm just making them up,
since I don't know enough about your friend to understand
where she's coming from. Maybe you would answer if you think
either of my ideas fits --
One might be that she has had a dissappointment romantically.
The moon could be a symbol for romantic love and she has had her romantic ideas dashed to the ground. Her ideas and hopes for such love were broken. Then to make things worse, the spirit of lust (a wolf with wings) has destroyed her concept of romance completely.
--That's a very tragic story because women's most intense involvement with love on earth is mostly through a great romance!
Another interpretation would be that it's prophetic, that the moon or some heavenly body will hit earth. That of course would be a catastrophe, so the wolf might be just a symbol of the fearsome destruction that would follow.
I hope you receive alot of interpretations on this because these
first two might not be correct.
