I'ld like to understand you

I noticed that loving people are happy to be loving and give love, for the sake of love (or PUL, as called on this website).

It would help me to understand the reasoning behind this attitude.

So, anyone: I would like to understand that if you care to explain.

I'ld also like practical example(s), because I am not always much a theoretical person.
