Was this a retrieval?
Sep 2nd, 2008 at 4:07am

I have decided not to do any attempt on retrievals until I have read and practiced some more, but after I started to read Bruce's guidebook I had this "dream" which seems a bit different from retrievals:
I witnessed a young man, a terrorist, being executed for his crimes with an injection I think. It was not a pleasent scene at all, but after this my role became like a helper for him to explain to his father how it felt when he died; there was no pain, but I felt myself lying inside his dead body; I couldn't move and it was not very nice, but no pain. Also I should explain to his father why he did what he did. The scene shifted and I was controlling a pen that hovered in the air so the father could see he should use this pen to write the thoughts I should convey from his son. The father did not understand why, since this was a good well-educated family with no apparent problems. I lost the reason now, I guess it was only important to the father. I felt this "dream" to be so lucid I can't think of it as a dream. I also thought it to be different than the retrievals I have read about, but I will read more, maybe someone else had the same kind?

Dear Lars Bo,

Your experience is a retrieval in my estimation! Your clarity beyond dreaming and your consciousness switching from your self to the others are some of the indications.

Our souls seem to burst into these retrieval endeavors!  They must be bored by modern life's material comforts which gives them little involvement.  Smiley

Some Higher Intelligence chooses which souls we retrieve, which situations we are able to enter. You needn't compare your retrievals to others'.   Smiley Mine are so bland that I don't even report them anymore. You are obviously qualified to
go into more difficult situations.

Thank you for sharing your retrieval experience!

I can't decide if it was an retrieval or not, it seems you had the role of a messenger. Not a "normal" dream in my estimation. I have the feeling it could be a sign, or a training, to enhance your nonphysical communication in the near-physical levels and remember it. So keep something to write handy at your bed, there could be more interesting "dreams" coming! (A pen controlled with thoughts, that would be cool)
