I think the only true soul mate anyone has is in the afterlife, the one we have to leave behind.. when we choose to come down here and if the love with that person in the afterlife is very strong and tight as can be , then she comes down with you , but your separated and have to go through life's obstacles to find each other again.

if that makes any sense at at all

I've had dreams of two woman that to me felt very real and when i woke from the dreams , i had this deep feeling of sadness like i knew them on some level.

yes, it makes sense to me Nick. also the levels of 8 within the disc Justin spoke of makes sense.

to make it a bit more understandable, I'll tell a friend's sharings with me. when he was very young he used to go obe quite a bit and then because it was disconcerting to be doing this, he shut it down.
now he's opening up to it again. however, he was given the name of his two wives to be, in this life. as it turned out he did end up marrying those women, and we can see this as disc mate or soul mates within agreement. even though he has divorced the 2nd, they continue to live under the same roof, showing that the bond is beyond what we think marriage is.
the same with myself, after a divorce, my hubby and I still continued our relationship. apparently paperwork is all the marriage idea represents. PUL is a forever type of thing.

Since I subscribe to oneness concept, I see the idea of division into Earth plane as a contraction and expansion movement of Spirit, life breaths out, life breaths in. that sort of thing.

The sadness Nick mentions, I think we all can feel that, as in obe I felt such joy to reunite with someone who felt like myself in another form, and the sadness was like the other end of Joy, that it had been necessary to part the way, but that I had not understood the necessity until this moment of reunion, which was somewhat of a surprise for the two of us..me more than him. this reunion was about polarity spirits but beyond sexuality, if that makes sense!
just call it a mental level where family meets.

I hear you Justin of the conflict engendered when interacting with twin flames. In order to maintain sanity, I simply adopted forgiveness plan for each perceived indifference, or misperception as I decided nothing is done to me really, I have called my experiences forth on a higher level, learning to release negation within myself is forgiveness plan.
yet, we do this not just with twin flames or soul mates in agreement, we learn that we are really forgiving everyone, and the whole world and it's circumstances as well.

I think this was JC's message about forgiving, was meant to be a message to all of us.
