Hi When my dad layed in his coffin in the chapel of rest,i went to see him with my children and my eldest son was in tears and he couldnt stop touching dad's face ,anyway he touched his eyes and one of his eyelids opened as they glue them down at death ,which i did not know till then,so the undertaker came in and put his eyelid back down again,only thing is, that when his eyelid had opened dad's eye was blue and he always had really dark brown eyes when he was alive so i was curious in thinking,we are all born with blue eyes and do we return to blue eyes at death,i wondered what you all think about this.

Interesting question Juditha, and interesting posts betson.  Yes, it seems we lose color in many things, our hair gets gray, our skin usually gets lighter.  It's just the body and has nothing to do with our eternal selves.
