Experiencing disk question.
May 19th, 2008 at 2:01pm

How does it go for people when it comes to experiencing their disk/I-there, whatever name you like?

Even though I have mind to mind communication with my disk and experience its positive qualities to varying degrees, I can't say that I've experienced it in its entirety.

The other night I tried to do so, my awareness expanded, and first I received the understanding that I wouldn't be able to experience things according to how my disk experiences them, because they wouldn't translate into human terms very well. I started to experience things in human terms.

First I saw happy people walking around with children. I understood that these children represented selves/probes that hadn't incarnated yet. Therefore, they were innocent when it comes to the ways of this World. The walking around symbolized getting them ready for incarnation.

Next a lady told me, "We're proud of you," in a loving way.

Next I saw about ten smiling people linked together sort of like a chain. Each person's head layed on the chest of the person they layed on. These people were shaped like a curve, which I believe represented "no time." This was displayed in a manner which showed that even though they are different parts, they exist as one being. I figure there are more members than ten, but there was a limit to how many could be shown in one image.

Next I saw an Asian man who was unhappy with himself. He said that he admires me.  I believe this is because during his incarnation he didn't find out about things such as we have an eternal soul and the creative aspect of being is a part of our reality. Instead he stuck to teachings which dismiss everything but pure awareness as being nothing more than an illusion. He didn't find that our souls are a reality that grow to an extent that is hard for us to imagine while human.

Next I found myself in a large parking lot. I could see a few remaining cars quickly driving out of the lot.  I understood this to mean that it is time for my disk and the disks it connected to to move on.

Next I saw some cars driving up a road that went up a hill. I understood this to be a symbol for ascension. I was represented by a Mustang that was having trouble with its tires. I believe this was my disk's way of telling me I'm holding up the show.

Next I was shown a few images of colorful structures that I couldn't describe. I believe they represented what a higher self matrix looks like.

Coincidentally? yesterday I was sitting here reading your post Recoverer and I was proud of you and I just sat here feeling love for you. I could have been, possibly, not sure, the lady in your disc who said that. I do remember thinking "I must tell him how much he has grown here." although I didn't think it was a strong enough thought that you might actually pick it up. this telepathy thing among disc members is not just relegated solely to disc members and in a way, it's similar to partnered exploration that we do over there on that thread, or try to do.

it seems like this is happening for a lot of people, we are getting more sensitized to pick up another's thoughts when it concerns a positive thought, at the same time we are protected from receiving the negative thoughts the more we stay on track with not focusing on the negative thoughts sent to us.

my opinion...I chuckle a little, because you do seem like a Mustang, I mean if people drive a car and identify their car with who they are...sometimes they do, well the symbology, I see you as wild and free moving in the mental area. the tires holding u back, maybe need changing out, it's good that still, it is a Mustang, now a Classic, therefore a valuable item and it wasn't the engine displayed as bad, nor the body..just the items which produce the rolling on effect...so i interpret it as positive reinforcement but we're still in a process of ascension and may as well enjoy the ride.

I think the Asian man is a part of the disc also. he seems to learn by watching you, what he failed to in his physical. he didn't love people very much or think that relationships were important. our disc members I feel are more involved in our lives than we can imagine, as helpers.
I experience my disc members I/there as being my other lives and being assistants to this one.

interesting about the children, the happy people preparing the children for incarnation. apparently the creation of new beings is a part of our function there, as well as here to supply the vehicles of consciousness gathering. I saw something very similar once and was confused about it until you mentioned it here, now it's not so confusing.

Not sure if Bets is in my disc but I connected with her also the other night regarding some new cupboards she is putting in, and she was excited to get them, telling me all she had to do was put her dishes into the cupboard. this was like an ordinary dream visit and I didn't know whom I was talking to about dishes until yesterday she repeated the dream back to me verbatim. this was a delightful surprise to know we are becoming more conscious of our ability to communicate other than picking up the telephone.

well, toodle lu, and another great post you made. love, alysia

Thank you for the Mustang thoughts Alysia. I couldn't quite figure out why a Mustang was chosen.  Some more thoughts just occurred to me. Mustangs are kind of out of date.  Perhaps some out of date concepts I'm holding onto are causing me to have a rough ride.  At least ways I was still moving up hill.  It was a white Mustang, which is a good sign. Perhaps I should enjoy the ride more than I do.

white, hmm. purity? white is the all-color blending idea, I think. I was seeing a red Mustang, red is for vitality principle, the color of life blood. dark red is anger. I saw bright red.

it has been proven people with red sportscars get more tickets  Grin they are moving really fast.

Recoverer,

A dream experience profound and still needing full interpretation.!

Maybe the Asian man represents the unhappiness on that continent caused by both the awful cylone in Burma and the terrible earthquake in China.

Hi Recoverer,

that was a very informative dream-vision!

I've never asked to explore my disk family.  Thanks for the idea!
Oh, I did see a house up there where 5 of us who get along real well meet between Earth incarnations.
It was an open' ranch style, we call them in the midwest, but with California and Florida overtones since
it was so open.  I liked it better than the one I've been putting together.  That was shown to me while I was actively working on my own hide-away up there, perhaps to say I needn't bother.

One time when I had a car dream, the tire part meant 'do not tire' as I was not getting enough rest.
Could that apply here to you?
I don't recall how strongly you have identified with Oriental philosophies, but could your Asian fellow
also represent Buddhism in general? the attitude could be of your disk family or of yourself to Buddhism.

Thanks for sharing it,
PUL, Bets

Alan and Betson:

The experience wasn't a dream. I was fully conscious.  My energy expanded and I made contact with my disk as best as I could at the time.  I feel quite certain about the Asian man.  He didn't find our disk during his incarnation because he was too busy trying to find out that his individuality was just an illusion, rather than something as grand as a Soul can be.

I figure this is what happened after he died. First, he found that his existence didn't puff out of existence. Next, because of his beliefs, he thought of finding a body to reincarnate into.  He found that it isn't easy to find the body of a woman with an uninhabited pregnant womb. Fortunately, some spirit helpers came along and let him know that he doesn't have reincarnate right away. Because he was basically a loving person who didn't judge other people and view them in a seperatist way, it didn't take long for him to join our disk. He's very happy now because he has found that there is much more to a soul than a bunch of delusional aggregates. He also found that incarnational experiences are something disk mates take care of on a teamwork basis. He also found that the spirit World has much more to offer than this physical World could ever offer.

additional thoughts about the white Mustang. this is a type of energy body.

last night I pulled my thought form diagram book off the shelf and a loose diagram of the chakras fell out of the book, one I'd saved from 40 years ago when I belonged to the Church of the Seven Rays, a spiritualist small gathering, a branch of the Long Beach Metaphysical Church. Calif.

Each of the chakras have a color to them. Each chakra spins with energy of thought.

The Seventh chakra is the White color. Since R saw a white Mustang I'm putting down the description as follows:

The 7th or crown chakra is located at the top of the head. It externalizes as the pineal gland and governs the upper brain and right eye. Through this chakra one may ultimately reach the feeling of integration with God. It's color is seen as Violet, or sometimes the combination of all colors White Light.

then as to my seeing RED Mustang:

Red is the color of the first chakra, located at the base of the spine and is defined as the chakra that governs understanding of the physical dimension. It is the energy center which one experiences as "fight or flight." It externalizes as the adrenal gland, governs the kidneys and the spinal column.

all this explains why the Type A personality might drive a red sportscar too fast.

all in all, as concerning these energetic centers which spin at different rates according to what facet of life we are working on, the objective to my perceptions is that eventually all seven begin spinning in harmony and alignment and this could be defined as the enlightenment process.

just read R's new post..it strikes me hard the similarity between our Ian here, and the Asian fellow.

Wink  Smiley This interpretation is however one assigned to the Asian gentleman, rather than being something he said. And even if he did....

For what it's worth I think there's a bit of mischievious labelling going on here.

My own experience suggests to me that  what we consider 'me' is actually is made up of a coincidence of aggregates, that what we perceive or seem to be at a given time is dependent on view.

But that doesn't imply fixation with any belief.

A river despite the fact that it has no fixed identity still has in this reality to be treated as a river. But that doesn't mean that viewed from another angle it isn't something else.

The bit you poke your toe in is 100% new compared to that that you stepped in yesterday.

Not much point dropping your bucket in the same place in an attempt to get a second sample of the same lot of water today as yesterday.

What is it that causes its 'riverness'? Because this is another way of looking at what it is.

Anyway. I'll back off on the topic.....

Riverness....

Vajra, you have got me thinking now.... this puts a whole new spin on the idea that "if you sit by the river long enough the body of your enemy will float by" --  I suppose that if you sit by the river long enough the body of your best friend might float by as well.

That's not a very pretty thought, under the circumstances that have occurred during these last few weeks.

But, very much, I like the thought of this "riverness" and how it describes our inner world.

On the other hand, if we try to find out where we've come from, we might find that a greater part of ourself has accumulated a lot of lessons that are worth having.

Smiley Hi R. I think that's spot on. To discard the 'afterlife' perspective as meaningless, and to instead pursue emptiness or the absolute as the only game in town is basically the same problem as  getting hung up on the afterlife and excluding the possibility of higher non dual realities.

It's hard to describe, but my take on it all is that the key is to remain open to whatever experience comes our way whether physical or otherwise - to avoid attaching to any belief system. That (and this is perhaps naive) it'll all sort itself out provided we don't attempt to impose local conceptual beliefs on what basically are natural processes of transformation.

What is interesting is that some of us seem to experience lots of Monroe style afterlife stuff. Others like myself seem to have less facility in that area, but to experience some realities more in the non-dual space.

The bit I can't quite figure out is whether this is just some quirk of individual consciousness or of the different ways opening can proceed, or whether it might given the way we seem to manifest what we think not reflect subtle beliefs we hold.

For example - is it that I've been influenced by Buddhist perspectives and by Monroe and Bruce too, and consequently manifest some non dual stuff along with bits of the Monroe like experience. But that others of you more influenced by the latter views tend to manifest these in a more pronounced and much clearer way.

It's not a case of arguing about truths. More that non-ordinary experience seems so often to reflect the  beliefs of the experiencer. Everything from UFOs to Pleiadians, to Sirians, to Buddhist or Hindu pantheon, to Jesus.

There's a tendency to talk of designated focus levels as the belief system territories, and of those above as somehow being different. Perhaps there's no escaping the spontaneous manifestation of whatever until we finally drop all beliefs....

Vajra:

I agree that it is important to keep it open regardless of what belief system one is talking about. For example, I'm a fan of what Robert Monroe and Bruce Moen wrote, but I've gone by the philosophy that until I find out for myself I don't really know. Some of the things they wrote I verified, some of the things I haven't.

Consider what I wrote on my first post on this thread. Information was presented to me in a manner I could understand. This suggests that the truth of the matter goes beyond what I experienced.

sorry to just take a piece and respond to it but I'm liable to get too wordy so just quoting this much:

Ian said: There's a tendency to talk of designated focus levels as the belief system territories, and of those above as somehow being different. Perhaps there's no escaping the spontaneous manifestation of whatever until we finally drop all beliefs....
____

It's not that it's just a tendency to talk of the focus levels as the BST's.. we use these terms to communicate to each other concepts which originated from TMI, otherwise none of us would be on the same page, so I think we couldn't really get to an understanding. I think I hear you saying you are understanding two schools of thought simultaneously, and when we say BST, you are thinking "state of consciousness?"

both would be correct and neither incorrect.  From yet another school of thought there is no definitive edges of the BST's as we might think, and we might see levels as rather groupings of the like minded, and stations of consciousness as similar vibrations mingling, like our cities and towns here, you can understand each town has a certain atmosphere.

We could see a spider web or matrix of belief systems, where there is not higher or lower but a merge from the center, the outermost thread can be felt as another reverberation of another consciousness level. For sure nonduality exists as a state of consciousness, I call that 4rth dimensional shifting personally, Monroe expresses it as there is nothing good, there is nothing bad, all just is.

the thing about having no beliefs whatsoever does not mean we should strive to abandon our current beliefs, but be open as R suggests through what we're doing now, interacting.

Also it is possible to slide from one belief to the next as in an ascension process we could call it. I was referring to it in terms of greased pig ascension and Alan was repulsed the other day Grin

moving right along..I think the first step of gaining clarity about these issues we discuss here was summed up "what I was shown was what I could accept, and implies there is more to find out."

R's statement..my rewording..the first step of enlightenment is to realize we know nothing, and so the value must be found in our togetherness for the while then Ian says what the key is, he is saying the same thing..be open.

Essentially, we are explorers of Mind dimensions.

My helpers, guides, people I meet on the other side, Ian, they are just people who once were physical. In that sense they are not above me, but come in love to make suggestions. If I were to say put them as higher than myself, I don't think I could really hear what they are telling me, so I see them as friendly beings and that way I can make contact more easily. Lately, the idea we are all One, like disc members idea, appeals to me, although it's never been a vision I experienced, it was Bruce's major vision I believe, and we accepted it here.

If it makes anyone feel not a part of our oneness, that was not it's intention. So Ian, and all, you are all in my disc.
